Gux joins Lions

Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl is all set to complete a move to Lions, Niklas "niko" Johansson has confirmed.

The announcement was made by Johansson this afternoon in a video interview with rakaka.se after a QPAD shootout in Skövde.

Ståhl has been strongly linked with a move to Lions after he failed to join SK Gaming following his departure from fnatic earlier this month, and such stories were fueled by Johansson himself, who said "it would be fun" to play alongside the former EYEballers player again.


Gux seals Lions move

He will step into the shoes of Richard "Xizt" Landström, who left Lions for fnatic two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Johansson revealed that all Lions players will from now on receive a salary, which will put them on the same level as SK and fnatic.

Lions now have:

Sweden Frej "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström
Sweden Emil "FYRR73" Karlsson
Sweden Björn "threat" Pers

+1 i dont get it why people cant tolerate whining from time to time,l if someone tells you to step the fuck up with your game maybe he is rigth? i would step up my game atleast, if only my ego was to big i migth not like to hear that, but that leads me to think that moddiii, the natural fragger, is so good that he often steps on the other "pros" high ego, he migth be too much cocky for the elite level players who think they are the best. imo moddii n1 after a 100%f0rest and delpan

absolutely not, i take it uve never played with some1 who bitches and moans all the time? it brings ur whole teams morale down, making ur team's performance as a whole worse. 5 happy players > 4 upset players and 1 monster fragger. i mean it's not like he has a 2.0 fpr, in which case u might have a point. but even if that were the case, then he wouldnt be bitching since he probably wouldnt be losing.

I agree its not nice to hear to bad words, but sometimes someone has to say the obvious. perhaps im just blinded and biased since im also a whiner in my team, but we are still together, im not a bad whiner, just sometimes there are stituation one should easily chose the rigth decision and rigth movement etc,etc and he does not, then I am overwhelmed to say somethnig. maybe bad, but idk really, differs from person to person i guesss

i do not know what kind of player you are, but once in a while every1 whines or complains. this is acceptable, however does not relate to one person who CONSISTENTLY whines and brings team morale down as a whole. when you are at top pro level, easily fixable problems such as this should not be avoided, thus the removal of a whining player. *I am in no way saying moddii is this kind of player btw, for all i know he may have corrected his bitching ways and is an all around player these days. Im just stating if this was part of the reason moddii never got invited anywhere, its perfectly legitimate if he was this kind of a whiny player.*

yeah, but he has been playing alot of gathers recently with moddii, so no1 knows ;P i myself hope 2 se BARBARR back cuz hes a great AWPer! BARBARR,MODDII,Pronax,pop and zet would make a nice team. believe it or not his natural talent and skill will not pass by quite so easily. he may no longer be the most strategical and smartest player(nor the 1 with the best aim in the world like he was), but he definitely still has the skill to be a top player. Im telling u this as a long time NA player, who played against zet right after he quit Source. His aim was astonishing, and it probably still is. These days however, good aim wont carry u wherever u want to be in this game anymore. But it doesnt mean he cant make a comeback.

agreed.. and go look at his highlights with SK in '08 and some of '09 and some of the shit he does very few can do.. i've played a bunch with him sense he was in America for awhile and i talked to him on friends list about playing and straight up told him that selling out to CGS and playing source ruined him being the best rifler in the world.. and he agreed, he just said he hate's RAGE org otherwise he'd be there new team that would be amazing BARBARR - IGL, primary awp manne - rifles, secondary awp zet - rifles, role player moddii - madfragger, aggressive like zet '05 and '06 style :D Dennis - rifles, role player(if he will continue, and it looks like BARBARR will, but nothing certain yet) if not Dennis than keiz, or qp could you imagine this lineup? i think they could easily challenge for top5 worldwide..they just need to use their fucking heads and quit tearing apart solid teams..if they joined up and committed they would be as good as any in the world imo GL, if they would read this and take my advice it would be their best movi imo :D can't wait to see zet back and prove all these guys wrong :D

I dont get this bad rap about moddii, hes not difficult to work with but when your playing for one of the top teams in the world and your constantly carrying the team and if you dont get 2 frags each round you dont win it gets sickening after a while. Put Moddii in fnatic and he wont have any problems at all, with MYM he was their top fragger and each round relied heavily on him except when Delpan got nutty sniping and same with his time with SK. With Xizt as another rifle who could go toe to toe with his fraggin he wont have the pressure of being the lone rifler to hold a whole bombsite by himself and therefore won't lash out in anger. New team; BARBARR, MODDII , pronax , pop , keiz

go look at zet's highlights with SK in '08 and some of '09 and some of the shit he does very few can do, and was the reason(him and tentpole) SK did anything those years.. i've played a bunch with him sense he was in America for awhile and i talked to him on friends list about playing and straight up told him that selling out to CGS and playing source ruined him being the best rifler in the world.. and he agreed, he just said he hate's RAGE org otherwise he'd be there new team that would be amazing BARBARR - IGL, primary awp manne - rifles, secondary awp zet - rifles, role player moddii - madfragger, aggressive like zet '05 and '06 style :D Dennis - rifles, role player(if he will continue, and it looks like BARBARR will, but nothing certain yet) if not Dennis than keiz, or qp could you imagine this lineup? i think they could easily challenge for top5 worldwide..they just need to use their fucking heads and quit tearing apart solid teams..if they joined up and committed they would be as good as any in the world imo GL, if they would read this and take my advice it would be their best movi imo :D can't wait to see zet back and prove all these guys wrong :D

MODDII deserves better than RAGE seriously. And for zet, seriously i don't think he have something to proove anymore because he just failed to get his skill back when he was playing 12hours per day (SK/MYM.se time). Anyway, i just hope that MODDII will go to FullGaming with Friis turkizh suraNga FaagaN, that would be a better team than RAGE.
