Blight Gaming sign dateam

Blight Gaming have reopened their Counter-Strike division with the acquisition of da_team.

The Swedish team have finally found an organisation after announcing late last month the start of their operations with a roster composed of former members of ICSU and Begrip Gaming.

"After hours of talking we are glad to say that we have finally found ourselves a home. Of all the offers we got, we got one offer that we really couldnt resist from the Multi-Gaming organisation Blight-Gaming," Joel "emilio" Mako told Blight's website.

"We get along really well, and this is a big boost for me and my teammates that we can from now on, only focus on our practice and let the management take care of the rest, and that it is a big relief for us."

Blight had been without a CS team since the end of the last ESEA season, in which they finished in 5-6 place with an American roster.

The new Blight team had their first public match on Wednesday against Georgia, picking up a relaxed 2-0 victory.

Blight owner James "blackfoger" Larsen said he hopes the new team will bring much success to the organisation and revealed a huge effort will be put into the Swedish squad, which includes having the players live together.

"We have debated about taking an already established team and see how that worked out," Larsen said.

"After talking with emilio and the team for the past week I can tell we are on the same wave length.

"That being said, the team is going to be moving into a house together, courtesy of our sponsors, practicing hard and attending many events."

Their official LAN debut is expected to be at the World Gaming Festival in Montenegro in February, after which the team plan on attending the 4Kings LAN 2011 and ASUS Winter.

Blight Gaming now have the following team:

Sweden Joel "emilio" Mako
Sweden Danniél "dalito" Morales
Sweden Daniel "rape" Börzsönyi
Sweden Christian "floreNz" Shahan
Sweden Givar "givar" Shabani

The blight gaming organization is a organization which is notorious for not paying travel expenses, or properly sponsoring players, or saying they are going to do something but not. This has happened(and been reported on) to like 10 teams, but people keep falling for it.

That's all true, but blight has been doing pretty well with their source team, recently sent them to Europe afaik. I guess we'll see. 99% sure this will be over within a month, but there is always that 1%.

They sent them to Europe though the team still had to ask for money to get covered by community volunteering, which is somewhat...ridiculous. The ONLY REASON the head honcho did that was to gain back some trust, but in general most people question his capacity to actually deliver. A single tournament is one thing, multiples is probably a very resounding "NO" unless the players front for themselves.

Going to go down the List here. Had to make an account for the misinformed. I am not 15 years old. Two we have sent three teams to DSrack #3, One of them from United states all the way to copenhagen to bootcamp for 8 days. Sent two teams to the last ESEA LAN and have sent a team every ESEA LAN. Currently have 14 teams. Our current teams are fine and haven't said anything our EU teams are quite happy. A few teams are currently salaried. We will be attending 4kings Land and maybe WGF with this team.

There are always 2 sides of every story, we just choose not to talk bad about these players. Any past debts have been paid off. We currently have 15 teams and all of them have received the support they want. Don't hear our teams complaining that went to DSrack or our TF2 teams or our CSS teams. If you want to be a negative nancy please go elsewhere. Also some of those teams still owe me money.

There actually isn't because in every story covering your side you always claim that the company credit card was over the limit or that you no longer have the support of a certain sponsor. I actually know a few players that were once sponsored by you and I've known them long enough that they wouldn't lie to me and from what I hear you're a pretty shitty person. You make promises you can't keep to create publicity for your company knowing that you won't/can't fulfill these promises. You've also promised to reimburse players for paying out of their own pockets and you've never paid them back at all. Most of these players make up the top echelon of North American CS/CSS so I highly doubt they would start shit with you for no god given reason. Regarding DSRACK and those other "sponsored" trips. Most of them were either team funded i.e 0 dollars came from the organization or money raised from sponsorships that you've been hoarding for a while. Blight is only sponsored by Everki ( if you have more please enlighten me because what's the point of sponsoring you if you don't at least advertise them...it's not like your team has TMZ media converge) at the moment from the looks of your website so I highly doubt you're able to provide salaries and those lavish trips. Pfft get real. People have seen you online. You're not even "of age" yet. How the fuck are you running an accredited business? Simple you're not. You're a shady piece of shit who probably stole most of their sponsorship money seeing as though most teams you sponsored weren't good enough to win top cash prizes anyway.

Also I wouldn't hold my breath on those large payments. There are numerous players on ESEA who are willing to showing your "e-checks" bouncing. That's right these aren't paypal funds. They're e-checks. It's just for show. And your contract clauses make me laugh.I'm pretty sure copied a wall of text and then made it relevant to gaming. 33. Non trolling clause (A) The Employee is to NOT in-gauge in any behavior characterized as a troll, whom is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, commences an argument or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion as well as performs wise-crackery, posting incorrect information, asking blatantly stupid questions, or other foolishness. In addition to the offending poster, the noun “troll” can also refer to the provocative message itself, While the term troll and its associated action, trolling, are primarily associated with Internet discourse, also includes media attention, with 'trolling' being used to describe many intentionally provocative actions outside of an online context.Trolling is the act of purposefully antagonizing other people on the internet, generally on message boards. He is guilty. He once told his team he bought them tickets and then made up retarded excuses when the team asked him to confirm. Then on the day of the lan he told them he lied. If that's bad management I don't know what is. Ask anyone in the American scene and they'll tell you you've a greater chance of being paid by some pub clan than by Blackfoger. Which is why ESEA NEWS refuses to report anything that has anything to do with Blight Gaming.

1. "stubborn kids" I'm probably older than you 2. 99% of competitive gamers in the US would not deal with you 3. Your funded trips include giving "gas money" to teams. 4. Your current CSS team was going to raise the money themselves through ESEA before your "sponsors" gave you the money. 5. Your past CSS team refused to wear BLIGHT t-shirts on lan because you failed on all of your promises. Caseyfoster ended up wearing a Netcode tshirt. If you did fulfil your promises I highly doubt you would have this reputation. Oh wait your 7. Most of your "funds"/salaries were either given late or they bounced 8. Past teams that defended you or players that were known to be respectable within the community have spoken out against you. 9. You copied Pandemic Gaming's about information because you were too stupid to change it up 10. Need I go on?

Also <a href="eseanews.com/index.php?s=news&d=comments..">eseanews.com/index.php?s=news&d=comments..</a> testimonial from past teams, sponsors (of whom I know) and your Co-CEO. Your Co-CEO, TheWhiz, was the main reason your organization was still credible among the few players that would sport your name. Your past CS 1.6 teams won't talk to you ever again which btw you currently don't have contrary to what your website states. You on the other hand fail and Blight Gaming along with it.

Dude all those transactions are such low amounts and certainly dont cover your alleged sponsors to your teams , you dont have any serious money yourself.....you front a joke team and put up all your own money you get from your job or parents. All you care about is your name and getting the next big thing, you will drop any one of your teams if you could for a second pick up a better one, you showed zero loyalty and everyone knows this, why you continue to do this is beyond me but in 2 years from now you will probably kill yourself from all the horrible mistakes you make in eSports.

if Blight don't screw up, this can be really good for the swedes, but in the other hand, they may be wasting prescious time with this organization.

I've dealt with blight gaming before with my team. Blackfoger promised us a bunch of stuff, including sending us to ESWC last summer and never did it. For 2 months, he gave us excuses for not paying us when he could have told us the truth, that his organisation is a scam! When I hear about blight, it's always bad news. It's always a question of money not being reimboursed, "the guy" that is supposed to pay is not answering his phone, credit card over the limit, and a bunch of false promises. Anyways i wish the best of luck to da_team and if I were you guys I would be careful with them and not trust them 100%.

Seems that according to some of the comments this will be intersting to follow not only because of the team but also the organization housing them ::)

My team held the Blight tag for about a month they promised us small things like free vent and servers among other things and nothing ever said was actually put into action. The format of their organization was a mess every single "employee" of blight acted as if they were above the other and could make all these decisions. I was told 3 or 4 different things from each individual person and once I found out the flaws in their business practices it was apparent that this organization was being run out of a basement. This was about 3 or 4 years ago and it seems nothing has changed.

i dont get it why everyone is writing crap about you guys. maybe you guys betrayed one or two teams wich sucked. but when i read these comments from these persons. you guys would had like 200 squads in your history. :D like the whole gaming scene of america was already in your clan :D

That's because they have had over 200 squads this kid's memory is so bad because he can't keep track of all the promises he has broken.
