Our beloved Dreamteam game is now ready to take on the IEM5 European Championship Finals – Set your team, compete to beat your friends and participate in the race to win prizes.

The first major of 2011 will kick off on Thursday in Kiev, when twelve of the best teams in Europe gather up to fight for a total prize purse of $50,000. Since the competition will last three days, we have worked out an approximately breakdown of when the market will close and re-open.

Please note that the Dreamteam game is requiring us to process the server data, which at times might take time to gather and could possibly delay the process. Also in the event of delays at the tournament, the times will change depending on the amount of delay.

The market will close at 11:00CET on Thursday
The market will re-open at 22:00CET on Friday
The market will close again at 11:00CET on Saturday
The market will re-open 23:00CET on Saturday
The market will close at 11:00CET on Sunday

Now you might wonder why you can't pick mTw stand-in Jack "wazorN" Henriksen, there are several reasons to this, find them below.

- He will only play one match
- He will bring down the average price (less money to start with)
- The market will not open during the group stage, so you cannot change him, could favor those who want to save money

So what will you be able to win? Well it's not totally settled yet, but one thing is for sure, there will be some juicy prizes in the pot.

If we get ave and give him the "tac leader" role, will the result of the match he doesn't play be counted ? Moreover, do we already know which one he wont play (I think it's mym but not sure) ?

If you have another player from mTw in your line-up you might want to consider if you want to assign the role to that player (even though for just one match it might be risky if you actually want ave for that role during the whole group stage).

Friis is better riffle player also, TAY is godlike with awp, but cant compare to friis with colt, so imo TAY should stay as sniper

Thank you very much! In your opinion, can you tell me if it is better overall to choose players from both groups? Is it better to choose players all from one group and then sell them and get players from the other group when its their turn to play? Or! is it best to choose players from the first group and to sell only some of them for the next group's play? Also since the top seed from each group will auotmatically advance to the semis, would it be wiser to choose players that will get more matches after group stage is done? or no? Thank you!

It depends on a lot of things. First of all your faith in players you pick, also the players you pick, are they candidates of advancing from the group? What you always have to keep in mind, is to find the perfect mix of players who you think will be able to increase a lot and not fall through in the group-stage.

You still can assign roles if you want to try to get some cash from the bonus. But if you are not interested in this once your team is set you just have to wait for the matches of your selected players to take place. Once the market opens it is time for you to decide if there is a chance (and money) to make the changes that might improve you team and your position in the DT game at the end.

I presume it is not that easy to just add them and tell the DT players 'Here you go'. The implementation may take its time too. As he said in his blog entry, These are the changes in the pipeline, exactly when they will be finished is not certain yet, and there may be more changes, and some of these might not make it through if issue arise.

Rara is hot on french pickups on internet :) he could do some suprize or give something like a +1000$ because eSAHARA can surprise on the event that's why it's preferable (for me) to not put on him any role then if he do some damage you won't loose alot .

navi is having 2/3 more maps than fnatic or fx players. same with mtw and lions. no chance to win if you have fx/fnatic players now, since you can't change your team before tomorrow :/
