duttdutt win fnatic PLAY

Swedish team duttdutt late Sunday evening finished on top of the first fnatic PLAY tournament in 2011, scoring $500 for the victory.

It should be an all Swedish final, when Charge and duttdutt faced off in the fnatic PLAY Grand Final, a match that sadly witnessed a series of DDoS attacks and several substitutions.

The first map, de_inferno, went to double overtime and was paused several times due to the players getting DDoS attacks, which forced substitutions from both sides. First map did however finally finish, with a 22-19 victory for duttdutt. Second map de_nuke should be a perfect playground for Charge, who fought back to equalize the score to 1-1 with a 16-7 win. Third and final map de_dust2, duttdutt got a great start on things, playing the Terrorists side scored them a 8-7 lead at half-time.

Now playing the CT side, duttdutt saw Charge winning quite some rounds, but in the end duttdutt were able to win it by a 4 round margin at the score 16-12 and 2-1 overall.

It might just be me but didn't fnatic PLAY used to have bigger tournaments? With a higher prize pool and top teams showing up? EDIT: Also well done duttdutt (sorry just woke up lol)

Beside the ddos attacks (which was horrible to watch) the match was really amazing. I mean, just look at the lineups with the substituting players: duttdutt: huggan, keiz, dennis, olofm, manne, REAL Charge: pronax, Zyppe, moddii, BARBARR, hyvlarn, zneel, FYRR73, Xizt Funny as hell.

Charge seems to have a more OP lineup though lol, even though dutt has keiz, dennis, manne and REAL. I mean Pronax is known, so is BARBARR, zneel (SK before was kicked i think?), FYRR73, current fnatic Xizt, moddii, and kinda Zyppe >.< Killer team lol

Are you stupid? Olofm is the best player on duttdutt next to keiz and better than half of Charge and you saying he isn't known? you obv have no clue about the local Swedish/Nordic scene if you think olofm is not known, kid has unreal talent...more than pronoax and zneel rofl

Really... Asking people if they are stupid when you don't even bother to read their comment? Come on.. It doesn't really matter if olofm is the best player in the world, Dare_Devi16 commented on the fact that Charge _seemed_ to have a better lineup. The local Swedish scene doesn't really matter either, the fact of the matter is that olofm is not known compared to the players of Charge.

Not fair competition. For a funny 500$ prize the PRO PLAYERS are joining. They hadn't better make tournament for other people to give a chance to win. It was like time losing to play there if you see there 2 teams with EPS/Pro players

Are you saying that fnatic should throw the money away for lesser teams? As I see it, the more bigger names, the more spectators. The PRO PLAYERS are people too :D they just want to play for fun as a mix, as you saw in this tournament. 500$ makes it just worth taking some what seriously. Over n Out :]

Aight, seems so. But I think its better for the less skilled players to play against the better. The more you get to play those games the faster you improve, I think.
