nunji makes Antwerp Aces exit
Felix "nunji" Van de Put has told HLTV.org that he has abandoned the ranks of Antwerp Aces.
The Belgian player has decided to become a free agent as, according to him, the team is not ready to take the next step and intensify their practice regime in order to challenge the big teams out there.
"I asked the team if we could take it to the next level by practicing more efficiently and make some changes within the team, so we would be able to deliver some upsets at international LANs, but certain people didn't want to put as much effort in this game as I want to," he told HLTV.org.
"This for sure isn't the end for me, I will be focussing on the upcoming CB & ESL nationcups, maybe a mix-LAN here and there, just until my former team-mates realise that just going to international LANs to get a beating every time isn't it.
"I had a very good time in aces, we've been together for 2 years, attending a lot of international lans and being the dominant team in the Benelux for a long period of time."
Antwerp Aces were last seen at DreamHack Winter in Sweden, where they failed to pass the group stage after losing against Natus Vincere and being held to a draw by Alchemists.
Van de Put's departure leaves Antwerp Aces as:
Dries "ciseta" van Houdt
Fréderic "Monu" Dewever
Jules "nookbrid" Wydoodt
Tom "stryker" Colyn
