Frag eXecutors clinch bronze

Frag eXecutors have secured a place on the IEM5 European Championship Finals podium with a 2-0 victory over Natus Vincere.

In a rather tedious and one-sided match, FX comfortably moved past Na´Vi 2-0 to secure a paycheck of $5,500. On de_train, Na´Vi, who were on the offensive in the first half, got the first two rounds, but the Polish side responded immediately after and went on to secure a 10-5 lead at half time, with some good AWP work from Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński.

In the second half, it was time for FX to be on the attacking position, but that did not scare them, as they did their job and won the map 16-7.

FX get the bronze

On de_dust2, Frag eXecutors managed once again a 10-5 lead on the CT side, and in the second half, Na´Vi offered little resistance as the Poles picked up a 16-8 victory.

So brilliant game by FX, they so easly reads NaVi strats. Completly different game from this one with mTw. Why they didnt play like this yesterday? Ohh!! By it's still nice to see FX in realy great shape! Pasha mate pls wake up and than this year will be so interesting! In my opinion FX was rly a little bit unlucky with mtw, they deserved for final but what can i say, beating navi in style like this, they are beasts!

I hope you do realize that mtw isn't navi. So stupid to say "why they didn't play like this yesterday?" I'm pretty sure they tended to beat mtw to get in the final but both teams had their advantages and game was close. mtw vs fx had to be final game and it would be if mtw wouldn't have intentionally tied with esahara

You can't blame only pasha for this. It's a teamgame. Pasha played brilliantly in some matches. Yea, maybe against mTw he was the weakest link, but compared to last year he improoved a lot. and his USP is monster. :D

A little bit you can. Because if it was really only a team game, then individual skills doesnt. Otherwise then all could just make a team and go far, aslong they had good teamplay. Individual performance can make a difference in the game, both the bad and good ones. But there are many factors we do not know. Maybe the caller said to pasha to do as he did he in some of the situations.

It may be true. Kuben said in an interview several months ago that it is very hard to maintain such a great performance like this by Na'Vi for a longer period. After all it occured to be not true, as he presumed Na'Vi would suffer a setback before the end of 2010. His prediction is likely to be realizing, though.

love the stablilty in fx lineup .there like the oldest players in the oldest linup and still do amamzing things, i think sk needs to look at this. imo they should of kept zet tentpole allen walle robban lineup for longer.

Sweden has more options than Poland, for the reasons of the Swedish talent pool is a lot larger. Sweden can easily switch around monster fraggers and consecutive players. Poland doesn't really have that many people to choose from O.o, this is prob one of best teams they can get right here.

think that's because FX is such an unstable team (though not this tournament) one day they can play amazingly and the next day they can loose everything. Where as mTw is always playing around the same lvl.

Great game by eXecutors, NEO the best in the tournament, no doubt. And their gameplay is just crazy, really nice! Little mistake made them to win 5.500$ instead of 20.000$. Yea i get what you are saying. Like i said before it is your opinion and i respest it. But from my point of view and what i´ve seen on several POV demos f0rest is the only one who can win impossible clutch rounds. That is why i think he is the best - but then again it is only my opinion. As #202 said a lot of these players can have a really good tournament and in the end of the day it comes down to who has the better day/form. And i also agree on the part that neo and f0rest are the two of the best players ever play to this game.

CS isnt 1on1...it is many players out there at his level trace have been just as good in this tournament......f0rest has always been at Neos level and won alot more...GeT_RiGhT roman markeloff....all theese players have tournaments when they play incredible. I know it is not 1on1, and I didn't say that. But actions like 1 vs 3 he did, his shots, his brain, movements, etc, imo, makes him the best. We can talk about oldschools, heaton for example, and neo is light years far better than him, the same as f0rest and co. Neo and f0rest are the top2 players in the history of cs. Many years ago, cs level was nothing compared to what it is now...

You know it always hard to be ahead of your time....when HeatoN played the level was ofcourse lower..CS develops just like any other sport....a top football player 1940 was alot worse than a top player now...but it doesnt make the superstars from the old time any worse...they are a part of why the sport have developed...without them the level wouldnt be what it is today. It is the players who break ground and keep improving their skills that makes competition harder and harder...if CS would survive in 10 more years they probably would say that players like Neo and f0rest was very good for their time but wouldnt be as good as the best players then. You see what i mean?

actually yesterday it seemed like he had a spell over him Minet kept killing him, i noticed it in the middle of Nuke and kept an eye on it and as far as i saw he didn't kill Minet 1 time in the entire match :P though he was the MVP of the match anyway, just thought it was a bit funny.

for me the best team with fnatic in this tournament. Yesterday they needed a little bit more lucky, but they lose in front a very nice team like mTw. lol mym pgs fx again or wtv were always making bad tournaments ,and then they finally get one going and won one major for an ENTIRE year,you really cant compare fnatic to fx because fx is much lower than them :p

how do you know that ? they didn't even face fnatic. and the mTw vs FX game was 50/50 down to the wire. it could aswell been FX that won that game. but mTw took it. so you can't say that eighter team deserved the final spot more than the other. imo if i could i would put both FX and mTw in the final. but that would be pretty fucking weird with 3 teams in the final. (fnatic, mTw, FX)

ehm noooo, Fnatic and FX did not meet you want me to break it down for you why? okay Group A ended like this 1: FX 2: Mym 3: mTw 4: SK 5: E-sahara 6: mousesports Group B ended like this 1: Fnatic 2: Lions 3: Na'Vi 4: TCM 5/6: Alternate/Forza and as the number one of each group goes directly to the semis and not into the same semi they could not have met in the tournament only if it was online, and even there i'm pretty sure they didn't meet. EDIT: and i've just read up on that and no they did not meet, so there they havn't met this tournament.

I think that although Na'Vi is a powerhouse, they are just like any other top team: they aren't unbeatable. They could have some really unlucky tournament. But what I think was really the case is that Na'Vi's main talent is anti-strat. They were able to out predict the opponents, something that gives them a huge edge over other teams. Since they've been on top for a year, other teams must have had enough time to observe and notice how to fight back against Na'Vi. That being said, Na'Vi is still amazing and they won't stop being a threat for quite awhile :P

yeah cus sk did so well at this tournament :/ mtw on the other hand is one of the most stable teams in history in my opinion ....too bad they had such a hard time last year with navi :/ and navi did well considering they just came back from a victory ...its almost impossible to win 2-3 tournaments in a row .... not to mention no team in history has dominated cs for 2 years in a row ...but then again no team in history has won 3 world championships in 1 year ...until 2010

Na'Vi is being outplayed, the other teams just know how they are playin. FX did read Na'Vi tactics very very well. 2011 isnt gonna have a ruling team, its gonna be very very very very tied.

Nice job Fx. It was a easy game for them. Saddly they got 3rd place. I wish I've seing them in the finals :/ They deserved it. But, it's ok. Neo is awesome. The best as always. No one in cs play SO good with ak/colt and also Awp. And no one will ever have his movements. He is awesome!
