Project Hardcore take form
A new team in Belgium called Project Hardcore has come to life, featuring several familiar faces in the country.
Project Hardcore consist of three players who were part of the ranks of Antwerp Aces plus Decio "DeKMaTcHeR" Pinto and Bernard "PatrickPark" De Grove, both of whom were on the market.
Felix "nunji" Van de Put had told HLTV.org of his decision to quit Aces after becoming disillusioned with life at the team, and it appears his words were listened as he has garnered support from Fréderic "Monu" Dewever and Jules "nookbrid" Wydoodt.
"nookbrid and I didn't believe that Aces would be as good as it was with nunji in it," Dewever told HLTV.org.
"Our goals and visions on the game weren't the same in Aces and these five players have history that goes a long way back, we know each other very well.
"We feel like we have the same understanding about the game and at the moment we all have a lot of time to put into it, so we feel that this is the right moment to try something internationally."
Project Hardcore, who are currently looking for an organisation, plan on attending Maxlan in France in two months' time and The Party in the Netherlands in April.
The Belgian team have the following roster:
Felix "nunji" Van de Put
Fréderic "Monu" Dewever
Jules "nookbrid" Wydoodt
Decio "DeKMaTcHeR" Pinto
Bernard "PatrickPark" De Grove
Decio "DeKMaTcHeR" Pinto
