Blight Gaming lose dateam

The Blight Gaming Counter-Strike squad have told HLTV.org they have returned to their former name of dateam.

The Swedish team announced earlier this month they had been picked up by the American organisation, just days after the creation of the roster known as dateam.

Blight have had a troubled relationship with some of their teams in the past, and the organisation's poor reputation has caused the Swedish side to make a U-turn on their plans.

"We have been promised a lot and as it seems at HLTV.org and in many news, it's all been a great lie," Daniel "rape" Börzsönyi told HLTV.org.

dateam are signed up for the World Gaming Festival event in Montenegro in February, and despite of this setback, they still plan on attending the tournament.

The team are currently looking for an organisation to represent at WGF, and can be contacted on their official IRC channel (#dateam) or at [email protected].

This team is welcome to the WGF in Montenegro. Is it better to come and play in lan then be home and watch via hltv... Or do nothing and put some comments to news.. There is no mutch teams witch can clame the money, and come to WGF....

I am sad that Blight and Da team could not reach an agreement over the matter. We had not yet signed contracts and our announcement was a bit hasty. They wished to attend WGF and our sponsors made it clear they didn't want to send a brand new team to the event so soon. It was a simple misunderstanding about going to WGF which we could not come to terms on. Instead we will be attending Maxlan and 30P LAN.

A few of those teams are still in debt to us and we have made amends and set aside an fiscal payments to some of the teams we have wronged. We still manage teams currently that still attend events

I dont see why teams still keep falling for the same lie. Blackfoger is known in the USA as a pathological liar who takes credit for lans that his teams do attend with their own money. He promises reimbursement and many other things, ofcourse he never comes through. The guy is a joke and he is banned from the number one league in the USA for being the scum he is.
