SK US lose ESEA debut by default

SK Gaming US's debut in the ESEA league ended in frustration as they suffered a default loss.

The American team were expected to play against Eskimo Kisses in their ESEA-O opener on Sunday evening.

However, SK did not show up for the match and were thus given a 16-0 default loss.

On the ESEA match page, Eskimo Kisses member Ricky "baysidE" F. stated that his team were unable to accept the new time for the match, which had been agreed by both teams, due to a faulty page system.

As such, the match was due to take place at 8 PM EST, the initial time, instead of 8 PM PST, but SK were nowhere to be found at that time.

SK announced last month they had opened an American CS division, with former SK female talent Alice "ali" Lew among ex-members from the likes of compLexity and Turmoil.

The American team are still hoping to be able to play the match, but the final decision on whether the encounter will take place now rests on Eskimo Kisses' shoulders.

The defeat throws SK to the 31st position in the Central Conference of ESEA-O, which is currently led by STRAWBERRYS DE LA CS.

I also would like to add that you should research the entire story before you post something on your site as news. I sent a message to 'ila' on Wednesday stating that ESEA was broken and wouldn't let me accept her counter offer, so we would just keep it at the same time of 8pm EST and SORRY. From Wednesday to Sunday is 4 days that she didn't log in to check her email / messages / schedule and I recommend they get someone a bit more active to do scheduling. I would have rescheduled AGAIN (3rd time!) if she wouldn't have messaged me calling me and my team a bunch of shady assholes, but whatever. <3 cloud 9

LoL this is some great news, why post about a esea open team even if its the fail us version of SK. The team may win open but that is not saying much. Only reason they got sponsored was because 1 of the players is a girl isnt it quite obvious
