Copenhagen Games 2011 announced

Copenhagen Games has been announced to take place April 21-24 in Copenhagen, featuring both a Danish Championship and an international competition for Counter-Strike.

The Danish event will just like last year take place Øksnehallen, an exhibition hall located in the center of Copenhagen. The 2011 edition will have room for approximately 750 gamers and will feature a total of six competitions.

A Danish Championship as well as an international competition in Counter-Strike will be available, thus nothing is stated regarding prize money as of yet, organizer Zahid Butt explains:

"Can't reveal details about the prizes, but can say that they will be at a level which matches an international interest, but the distribution of prizes will also greatly accommodate the width in Denmark which is our foundation."

The 2010 event was won by mTw, who defeated Shark.Confis to win the €3,360 cheque. Stay tuned for more information being released about Copenhagen Games, an event you will be able to follow right here on HLTV.org.

It will be good if there will ESWC. I wish I could be there. Many players were unhappy with the Providence ESWC at Disney in France.

Just wondering, you say over 750+ gamers. Does that make it possible that I can bring a team to the local competition? Also if yes I'm assuming there's an entry fee?
