Na´Vi-EG to open IEM5 World C'ship

The Electronic Sports League has announced that the match between Natus Vincere and Evil Geniuses will open the IEM5 World Championship.

The IEM defending champions and the American side will contest the first match of the event, which will run from 1-5 March at CeBIT.

The exact time of the match has not yet been made public by the ESL.

The duo have been handed an extremely difficult task in Germany, having been locked in the same group as Swedish trio SK Gaming, fnatic and Lions and project_kr.

Meanwhile, the ESL has announced when the different stages will be played throughout this five-day event. More info about the exact schedule and which matches will be broadcast live on ESL TV will be released in the forthcoming days.

IEM5 World Championship Schedule:

1 March - All matches of Group B
2 March - All matches of Group A
3 March - Quarter Finals
4 March - All Semi Finals
5 March - Grand Final
