WGF 2nd group stage finished

Group stages are now behind us in Bijelo Polje, Montenegro and the quarter-final matchups have been decided.

The group stages provided several surprising results, the biggest one in Group C where a young Montenigrin team, gamesense.itek (average player age 16) defeated high seeded Serbian squad SBC and made it through to the quarter-finals.

Another home team provided a surprise, when gms took first place in Group B even though they were low seeded. The Montenegrin team made an amazing comeback in their first match after being down 2-13 at the half against iNation on de_train. They took 13 rounds in the second half and even had a chance to win the match, but had to settle for a draw. After that, they went a step further and defeated an even bigger favorite, BGDoNLINE, on the same map with a 16-11 scoreline.

In Group A ENTiTY finished in first place as expected, while mihu came second.

Group C was finished last due to some delays at the event, as alchemists won their match for the first place in the group against Romanian team neXtPlease!.

The quarter-final matchups, which will be played in Best of 3 mode, are:

ENTiTY	vs.	gamesense.itek
alchemists	vs.	BGDoNLINE
HEADSHOTBG	vs.	mihu
neXtPlease!	vs.	gms

The semi-final pairs will see the winner of ENTiTY vs gamesense play the winner of alchemists vs BGDoNLINE, while HEADSHOTBG or mihu will play against neXtPlease! or gms.

Semi-final matches will start on Friday at 10:00CET, while the final and the 3rd place match will start right after. Stay tuned to HLTV.org as we will bring you all the action live from Bijelo Polje, even though we are having some difficulties with the internet at the venue.

Lets be honest, HSBG haven't played against someone good at the moment, or at least good has some teams that HSBG defeated online, like esahara for example. Even so, I'm expecting a top2/3 finish by them.

You guys need to get something straight. Your CS scene is DEAD, your top teams can't even match Serbia's middle teams and you suck at counter strike. You wanted to pass to the groups at CB that you felt so desprate that you went all the way to accusing a guy of cheating, and even if he was cheating (tho he wasn't, and i'm gonna get flamed for this by portugese guys etc.), you guys would get raped by MNE even if he wasn't playing. Soar truth, must be.
