zX9 down to two players - Report

According to sources close to Catch-Gamer.no, zX9 have been reduced to two players and are near disbandment.

The Norwegian team saw the light of day in January when former NiP member Øyvind "KF3" Magnestad announced his new squad under the zX9 tag.

Just days before, the .no team had disintegrated, with Karl William "kalle" Haraldsen and Tommy "tacky" Mosgaard making a move to alchemists Unleashed.

The squad made an appearance at Nemean 2011 last month, where they placed second, behind alchemists Unleashed, and cashed in approximately €1,300.

However, HLTV.org knows that Morten "zEVES" Vollan was in a car crash on his way home from the event which caused the demise of his computer.

While Vollan is without a functioning computer, HLTV.org furthermore knows that Benjamin "Ben" Brahimi has recently put his desktop machine up for sale.

These two incidents, together with Catch-Gamer.no's sources saying Magnestad has been absent ever since the event, have caused a rumor about the team's disbandment.

Should these rumors strike reality, it would leave zX9 left with:

Kenneth "REASTEN" Kristiansen
Hans Petter "CLd" Nykkelmo

HLTV.org has tried contacting Magnestad, but so far without any luck.

WashTub F T W Norway just cant find players that stay together long enough to reach far internationally. Again i'm dissapointed by norway. I have seen this happen way to many times...

KF3 inactive again? hopefully not, since the day he came back i've been waiting him to join a good team, i mean in the blogs he wrote when he came back seemed that he was really motivated to start playing again on a high level

KF3 is a terrible player.. At least nowadays, he always does the wrong moves and ends up dying with a flashbang in his hands. he was IGL right? Thats why they made so stupid strats. Strats which doesnt work on cs today but was good 3-5 years ago.

He was announced for the team but never played an official match. He left like a couple of weeks after the announcement because of communication problems ingame or something like that.

The first thing i look at is not buying a new computer. I will fix my car since I did not get any money back from the insurance company. Nevertheless I'll get a new computer when the economy is good. but not for a couple of mounths I guess
