Iron Will test lineup at ICSC7

Intel Challenge Super Cup 7 finals later this month will be a test of how Iron Will may look in the future.

Russian team Iron Will announced the departure of three members, including the veteran duo Viktor "Sally" Filimonchenko and Boris "Snoop" Podvalshikov. At the same time the team announced they had picked up Aleksey "HEL1" Novikov, who lately had been roaming as a free agent.

Today it was announced that Iron Will are to test a new composition, when attending the ICSC7 finals in Kiev. The CIS community had expressed that Filimonchenko and Podvalshikov deserved a chance to prove themselves, after their return to the circuit.

The duo have been given that second chance by Iron Will manager Anton "Sneg" Cherepennikov, meaning they will travel with the team to Kiev.

Iron Will's ICSC7 finals lineup will be:

Aleksey "HEL1" Novikov
Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov
Alexey "LeX" Kolesnikov
Viktor "Sally" Filimonchenko
Boris "Snoop" Podvalshikov

Nothing has yet been decided how the future will look for Iron Will, things could possibly be determined after ICSC7 finals, which will take place 19-20 March in Kiev, Ukraine.

Hope they can prove them selfs, Sally more DM! Boris just have to keep playing like he did last tournament. Imo he was the best, even in the final when they got raped by M5, the few rounds they took were by snoop.

I agree with those who say they need a chance to find there game. To kick the players without more time would be way to fast imo Snoop and sally might just need a longer time to shake the rust

Just because we (Russia) not have a younger top players. It's like in Norway, at them never will be a new world top ~10 team without players like REAL, prb, noLA and other's mYm and eoL members.

Just what we are too big country - it's bad for gaming, biggest distance for europe and still a bad internet connection in all Russian regions except Moscow and St. Petersburg. For this reason all our top players from Moscow.

hally, Fly, Fierce... all they played in Iron Will, and show not result. Also USSR, i think their maximum looks like top ~20 in world, and it never be a high. Russia have many good aimers yes, but no one from their can't become a new f0rest, LeX, starix and another world class players. That is what i'm talking about.

I wished they took the moscow5 line-up, could cut fox (which is impossible I know) and bring Lex + a young talent like h4cker or MNR. Then they might be able to do some real damages. I also really like HEL1 and F1_N when they are in good shape.
