ESWC adds FIFA, TMN

The Electronic Sports World Cup has announced that FIFA 11 and TrackMania Nations Forever will feature in the 2011 event.

This is the second year in a row that Electronic Arts' football title is picked by the ESWC, while TrackMania, a racing game, has been with the tournament since 2006.

These two titles have increased the number of games for ESWC 2011 to five, with the list also including Counter-Strike: 1.6 (for male and female teams) and Counter-Strike: Source.

Meanwhile, the ESWC organisation has announced that the next batch of games will contain the RTS titles which will be played.

ESWC 2011 will take place sometime in Autumn in France, with $220,000 up for grabs in all competitions.

Natus Vincere are the current ESWC champions after beating SK Gaming 2-1 in the 2010 finals, which took place in July.

pes was in ESWC years ago (2004-2008) now FIFA because PES is very bad game in this moment.

i've never seen a football game with so many artificial intelligence errors, my goodness, its sucks so bad sometimes.. fifa>pes atm, hope konami fix those errors like the ball is like 1 feet meter near a player and he simply ignore it, unlike fifa

Still PES is better then FIFA for me, better gameplay and graphics. FIFA is just better because they have licences from all clubs, any other way PES is better. That's just my opinion

its really not just it. i play pes mor than i play fifa, i just played fifa like 5 ou 6 times. but pes at least for xbox have a whole lot of issues that need to be fixed.

LOL,quit 1.6 and you quit skills. CSS will never be better then 1.6. If you want graphics then don't play CS at all. Go play COD or something like that :))

unfortunately, I doubt it will be picked, they probably gonna take LoL, which in their opinion is more competitive, although it is miles away from DotA's quality... (haters gonna hate)

No fighting games is a huge mistake. The Fighting Game Community is huge, the games are sick, and the competition is fucking ridiculous. Marvel vs Capcom 3 and SSF4 shoulda been added. The names that would show up to this would be insane.
