RG revamp Counter-Strike team

RAGE-Gaming Esports have announced a refreshment in the Counter-Strike divison, bringing in a total of four new faces.

In December last year changes were made as Faruk "pita" Pita went to fnatic, the team decided to revamp and bring in three new people. Joining were the three Swedes Manne "manne" Nordqvist, Andre "keiz" Carlsson and Olof "olofm" Kajbjer.

None of these are however a part of the new team as they together with Dennis "dennis" Edman have all been removed from the team, only captain Markus "pronax" Wallsten figure in the new lineup.

RG have picked up the departed alchemists members – Andreas "moddii" Fridh, Karl William "kalle" Haraldsen, Tommy "tacky" Mosgaard – and brought along the Swede André "BARBARR" Möller. This team was originally panned out to be gathering up in alchemists, but the Norwegian organization ruled out this possibility last week.

"In the old team there were players that did not put in as much effort in the project as some of us. Also, we saw dennis leaving to play for SK-GAMING and left us unable find a good replacement for him.

Now I got the chance to play with a new team under the RG tag. I have high hopes with this team and im looking forward for our first event which will be Xperia Play in Denmark. I also would like to thank the management of RG for the trust in me with this new team, and also our sponsors Enuzi-clothing, Enuzi-Gameware & Suxus" - Markus "pronax" Wallsten said on RG's website.

Now representing RG are:

André "BARBARR" Möller
Markus "pronax" Wallsten
Karl William "kalle" Haraldsen
Tommy "tacky" Mosgaard

The team will have its debut in the HLTV.org Xperia PLAY prelude against Danish team face!, a match which will take place on Wednesday at 19:00CET.

Furthermore, does the statement from Wallsten add up to the indications of Dennis "dennis" Edman signing bonds with SK Gaming?

Normally the middle guy is the IGL, but different teams have different approaches on how they should seat, some prefer to have a guy from the B bombsite next to middle so that the other players can check more frequently the B bs, or it could be because it's the person that can motivate the team when they are losing, there are X reasons to determine the middle "throne". im not around for 6 months, i play CS for years, so i know how it works thanks :) ofc neo sitting in the middle was one of the reasons i said that, but i was convinced i heard in some interview that they changed they style by giving the IGL role to neo thus reliving taz and kuben from it.. and they never sitted like this, taz as a wingman, never and im am pretty sure that i've seen neo calling the shots, pretty sure, maybe im wrong idk. kuben, definitely saw him calling.

I'm confused, when have I written that they would've sucked or anything? I was referring to his country that his flag represents, not Norway. He isn't necessarily a complete norwegian citizen just because he lives there. In which case, he should have a norwegian flag. I do have plenty of knowledge about the cs-scene and its history.

he says that he lives in Norway, and saying that your comment is still valid will then refer to Norway or else you should have made it clear it was his flag. doesn't seem like you have much saying that swedish-norwegian teams doesn't work out, if you know something about CS up untill around 2004 you would know that some of the most dominant teams of that era was swedish-norwegian teams.

I was referring to his country before he said that he lived in Norway. That was what I meant with my first post, and since my opinion didn't change, I was not referring to Norway. Statistically they were the most dominant AT THE TIME, but that is usually because of their skills in-game. It's pretty logical that a team which consists of five players with the same nationality has a better communication and therefore is more successful. Communication is the key in this game. Let's say that everyone in a team has the same amount of skill each. A team that consists three swedes and two norwegians, for instance, would be less optimal than a team consisting of five swedes. Get my point now? :)

The game has come a long way, and these swedish/norwegian mixes haven't USUALLY worked nowadays, maybe it was different back then, I don't know. All I know is that this team would probably be more succesful if they would find the right combination of players, in form of swedes, since it makes the communication so much easier. I'm not denying the facts that you presented, it just seems that these kind of teams fail all the time.

it might not look like a marathon match but it was a really long match for once 3d made a comeback being down 11-1 in the 2nd map. Besides as soon as elemeNt left SK for NoA SK fell a lvl, they weren't the dominating team anymore. You cannot say that the spawN SK did better than the elemeNt you can look at the facts, everything shows that elemeNt + SK did way better than spawN + SK.

Actually 3D were down in the first map, which was d2, and SK on train, which was the second map, since it's so important to you to get the facts straight... But yes, I get your point. Still, SpawN would be and was a better fit for SK, and he would've most likely performed just as well as elemeNt if he would've played for SK at the time.
