Swedish-based dateam have been confirmed for the €10,500 Counter-Strike tournament which will be hosted at Adepto BH Open.

The squad will join the likes of fnatic and the two time Intel Extreme Masters World Championship-winning team Natus Vincere.

The tournament, which is a collaboration between Adepto and SteelSeries, will boast the impressive amount of €10,500, with the first-place finishers cashing in a total of €6,000.

Adepto BH Open will take place in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, between June 23-28, and is supposed to attract at least 32 teams.

Well they have to be. There's only a few events you can participate without strugling through heavy level qualifiers and with some pricemoney.

a team needs team players, not solo guys that do whatever they want. that hurts not only the teamplay but also the morale of the others. he works great in mixes but he wont fit into a team until he is willing to change. it's no coincidence the old RAGE team never worked and keiz didnt even fit into the stand-in role.

have you played with keiz? :P people were talking like this about moddhi for ages, and now they are all over his nuts. I am pretty sure keiz will succeed in becoming a top player like moddhi within a year. he just needs a good team

well, as a matter of fact yes i have. used to play with him a lot back in the days. but that's not what i judged from. i got a good pair of eyes together with contacts and scene knowledge. and tbh, its not that hard for anyone to draw a conclusion that he's a solo player, seeing as he is an extreme talent individually but aren't playing in any team at all at this point. the moddii comparison isnt accurate either. yes he has had success to a certain degree with the alchemists team but he will probably never play in either SK or fnatic, and it's not because he isn't good enough, cuz we all know that he clearly is. he had his chance in SK and played well but didnt fit either socially or ingame. from what ive heard he also was considered for the 5th spot in the current fnatic team, but they choose both niko and pita before him, which tells me a lot. everyone knows he's better than those two players. the reason they gave those two an offer instead of moddii is because they're both great team players and would've also fit into the team socially.

well gtr and khrystal were booted from SK earlier, and we all know that was not based on their skill level aswell. players can change, and usually when they have insane individual skill sooner or later, as theyre getting older, they learn to be teamplayers, and make it into a topteam. I know what you mean, but I really do think keiz has all of the needed assets to make it into a topteam, or even evolve into a topteam with other non SK/fnatic players, like the current lions team sort of did :] same goes for manne as far as Im concerned, just not sure how motivated he is to keep playing

that's a better parallel. yes, i think keiz will understand sooner or later that he has to change, but until that happens he wont be playing in a big team. regarding manne, i have really no idea how he is as a person, but it seemed like he wasnt motivated in RAGE and was (perhaps together with keiz) the reason that they never pracced anything or made it work. if he would be serious and isnt a social retard he's definitely gonna be joining fnatic or SK the next time around. his skill level is higher than anyone outside of fnatic and SK (yes, i consider him being better than everyone in Lions, besides Gux who probably never will be playing in any of the aforementioned teams ever again).

yeah, everytime I saw him play he was at the very least on par with the lions players, and quite some times he was a notch better it seemed. hard to tell if anyone will make it though, as other things factor in :P time will tell

I don't want to be pessimist too, but that lineup won't even get the 1500$ cuz there is other teams that will subscribe soon :) And for the other comments talking about keiz, seriously as i said in many other comments, look his LAN results/stats, and u will get that he can't compet vs topteams and not even semis? ;)

he was great in playzone, he is becoming better and better, and he was top performer pretty much all the time (when it comes to individual play) in dateam a year ago when you looked at xizt delpan and moddis lan results and accomplishments, you could also "get that he can't compet vs topteams and not even semis? ;)" same for get_right 2 years ago

Delpan & moddii won DreamHack Winter 2009 in mYm, GeT_RiGhT 2 years ago played in fnatic and considered as best player in the world. Dunno what you are talking about...

gtr in fnatic 2 years ago? okayyyyy... still, that one tournament win for delpan and moddi, and now they are both considered top swedish players (and delpan just won IEM euro champ'ship, while moddi won 2 events with alchemists, though you could argue competition at those (hade lan and WMF if memory serves me well), still, saying they barely have accomplishments is bogus, as the current navi team had no accomplishments outside of russia-ukrain before 2009, or even before 2010 )not 100% sure when their winning streak started, end of 2009 right?)

They did a fucking great performance vs fnatic on BO3 in their first event (Begrip vs fnatic WCG 2009 Qualifier) so i don't think you should compare MODDII,Delpan,pita to him & GeT_RIGhT 2years ago hmm he already played for Begrip(palyed a ESWC with em), played for SK in IEM, and he was a beast with lanklan so revise your self please. Conclusion: i can see talented players that have a great futur in CS (& i'm not the only one) & i can see the difference between em' and overated internet players. :)

keiz and manne have a bright future in CS in front of them if they stick to it, like gtr had a few years ago, if you can not see that I do not know how to convince you :o but who knows, maybe CS tourneys die out before they hit it bigtime, or maybe their motivation drops as they weren't picked up by SK/fnatic/lions in the recent lineup shifts, who knows :P I just see a huge talent in keiz, and all great players started out without lan accomplishments btw when saying overrated internet players, you think he is one of them? :o
