WSVG Announces Games

The World Series of Video Games (WSVG) have just announced their games for the 2007 tour.

Over at theWSVG.com the news of the games to be played has been released. In this year's WSVG tour the games will be:

World of Warcraft 3v3
Quake 4 1v1
Fight Night Round 3
Guitar Hero 2

Call of Duty 2 will be played at the Dallas and Orlando events in July and August but will not feature at the grand finals event at Dreamhack. Counter Strike 1.6 will feature at their Asian and European events as well as at least one American event.

"This is the news you've been waiting for. Four primary games, six stops, $750,000 in prizes. World of Warcraft. Is there a bigger game? It was on South Park! Quake 4 is back with the fast paced competition you've grown to love since you downloaded that demo of Thresh back in '98. For the metalheads, Guitar Hero 2 rips onto your console, groupies included. Just don't belt out Freebird at your next party. Last but not least, the bruises and scars look oh so real in EA Sports' Fight Night Round 3. The game is phenomenal; it takes ultra-realism to a whole new level."

The news is perhaps somewhat disappointing however we await to see the reactions of the gamers.

Yeah, great, let's all play fucking WoW and Guitar Hero 2 for big bucks \o/. "Quake 4" and "fast paced" must never be put in the same sentence.

Well , I was quite sure that WoW would be one of the disciplines... But "Guitar Hero 2"... WOTAF*CK is that ?!

Wtf ?? WoW is a nolife n3erds online game ... Fight Night ... what the hell is this weak game ? Guitar Hero 2 ... great for fun evenings after getting drunk to death with friends ... but certainly not as an official E-Sports game DUDES !! Kiss my ass =X ....

ok wtf what the hell is guitar hero :/ and why quake 4 and not quake 3 .. the whole secene is asking to get 3 back :/ at least they have 1.6 @ dreamhack (:

#15 You need some skill, but in the end it really ends like this - you have almost the same (ie. best) items, and whoever get's more criticals - wins. Skill is not very needed here.

WoW is basically 10% skill, 40% knowledge, and 50% luck. Guitar hero is just plain retarted (unless you're drunk and at a party) and Fight Night...What the hell is that tbh? Does someone actually play Fight Night? Who is the HeatoN of Fight Night?

rofl they will cry on wsvg because cs 1,6 is one of the best game for earn lot of money...because spectators will not spectating f*cking "Guitar Hero 2" :D wtf? a have never seen this game
