SteelSeries will this week air a new project, which will go by the name "Designed by Gamers".

Nothing has officially been announced by SteelSeries as of yet, but Kim Rom, the Chief Marketing Officer at SteelSeries, today on his tumblr account posted news about the upcoming project.

The post states that SteelSeries this week will announce a new project, going by the name "Designed by Gamers". The post does not tell us much about details, but a photo may lead us in the direction of what will be announced.

New SteelSeries product?

"This week we will announce a new project.. Designed by Gamers, true story. Really looking forward to going live with this. This will mark the first project of what will become a direction for many of SteelSeries’ future products." - Reads the post on Kim Rom's tumblr account.

Be sure to stay tuned for information about SteelSeries' new project, as we will be sure to update you once it's announced.

you own one of these qh 1339 headsets? acutally qpad just bought the licenses from beyerdynamic to get these headsets under their name just google beyerdynamic mmx 300 :D and the quality of the mice from razer and ss are pretty similar both brake very easily. for that the razer ones are even more overpriced

btw one of the razer barracuda headset user said ( well he wasn't the only one a friend of mine confirmed it ) he had taken an electric shot while playing, along with other problems like the right side falling, screws fallings and LEDs not working after a week also : one of qpad's headset made sixer's computer burn ( the soundcard first ) so far steelseries may not be of equal quality with pros like sennheiser but compared to their " by gamers for gamer " rivals, well at least they aren't dangerous

LOL :D well i already heard some bad things from tixo wich he really hates the headsets of razer just to keep it under us. because he did a statement on the razer website where he was promoting that crap :D about the qpad(beyerdynamic) headset. it uses more power than a normal headset could be one of the problems. as long as the headset isnt damaged you cant blame the headset for that :D maybe he just had a bad cheap soundcard product xD but yeah thats some interesting storys

there is acceleration in kinzu. you just can't disable it. it's quite a little actually but it definately is there. it's a hardware problem in kinzu. acceleration can't be disabled from kinzu.

I want no problem mouse with durable mousewheel and durable cord not like Ikari laser and shape could be like Ikari its perfect for my hand ;) Sensor used should be stable not like Avago 9500 with automatic frequency it should give stable 1000Hz responce no matter if you move mouse. It has to have adjustable cpi. Let you prove that you are No.1 SteelSeries

Best sensor would be Avago ADNS-3090 (found in CM Storm Spawn) which is an optical sensor. It has very low lift-off distance, you can enable or disable prediction and acceleration, and high perfect control/malfuntion speed.

1.1 se has mouse 4 and 5 ( 3 is scroll ). They have rubber coating. 3.0 has 400dpi sensor, not 450 and i don't think it can do 1000hz safely ( not even DA can do 1000 safely ) color system ? haha its a cheap led.

old 3.0 got 450 default 125 its not safe to go on 1000 but with the DA u can go easily with no problems to 1000 because default its 500. color system he means you can change colors on the led on diferent parts of the mouse...
