We continue bringing you the best frags from the old days, and this time round it's a Swedish USP ace on de_prodigy.

After some time focussing on 1.6 frags from the past, we now make a quick turn back into the 1.3 world, with a great round in a match between two of Sweden's biggest teams from the old days: Nordic Division and 2easy. In this highlight, you see Stefan "grims" Gross picking up a USP ace in the pistol round, taking off the heads of three Nordic Division players and then sealing off the round with two more kills.

i disagree, if the pro's back then were still playing they'd be atleast keeping up with the newer generation of players - if not still showing people how it's done. just because they didnt bhop or russian walk doesn't make them shit.

wow, top benelux. what an achievement! antwerp aces got their asses kicked by stockholm angels (givar & co) at iol and that same event they played 15-15 against a swedish mix with players that are not even considered as semipros in sweden (niwen, flwster etc). so wow, being one of the top players in benelux must be cool! sweden could put together 50 teams that would whoop their asses.

nunji is extremely good yes :] although during 1.3 top players did not have so many years of exp. so itss logical you will not see the same level as current top players felix ;p

They didn't run CS with 100fps and without all the commands we use. They were playing with accel. They were playing for only a year while we have been playing for over 5-6. Well I think that he was more than ok for the time. :D

Yep, but really you cant compare 1.6 to 1.3, remember back in the days they were playing with crap stuff, for example wheel mice etc.

Isn't that what he was just referring to? Grims always tended to be the player who would bait his team and get easy kills in the back hence the term to "Grimsa".

What was the 4th guy and 5th guy doing? He's reloading and other guy runs away, and one guy was shooting someone far away instead of the reloading guy right in front of him lol

vesslan had just shot grimms teammate and had only 1 or 2 bullets left, thats why he ran on, the other guy was also busy with another teammate. This was not grimms vs nordic it was 2easy vs nordic remember? and yeah they werent really great aimers back then but they only had a bit of exp (maybe one year) compared to nowadays top players :P

Yeah I kind of figured he ran away to reload, though when you're with a glock it would make more sense to shoot the guy in front of you (talking about the guy busy with someone else), because glocks aren't that "amazing" at long distance :) Ah well everyone has their moments.

well if you look closely (or full screen) they had deagles, not glocks! :P dont ask me why all terrors used to buy deags in pistol round because I started playing in 1.5 when already we preferred either armor or HE/flashes/SMG :D

My bad, I just meant that logically you should shoot the person shooting you which in this case is closer to you :P By time I mentioned the glocks was a day later and I already forgot what pistols they were using, which is my bad I'm very tired lol.

this frag was really nice, i saw the demo right after it was released just a few hours after the match was played if i'm not mistaken the whole demo was really nice, with ak47 as T he had some really nice rounds also great to see such an epic frag.
