keiz steps in for GZ at Xperia PLAY

GamerZone have told HLTV.org they have picked up iGamerz hot-shot André "keiz" Carlsson as a stand-in at Xperia PLAY.

The Swedish star has only recently found a new home, but due to the youth of the project, the team will not be attending this month's biggest tournament.

Carlsson had initially been announced as a stand-in for dateam, who later backtracked as they did not think there was a good connection between him and the remaining players.

The former Playzone and Begrip player will replace Alexander "brownie" Browne, who has departed GamerZone as he plans to become inactive.

"He has decided to focus on other things in life for a while," Markus "lindwe" Lindwe told HLTV.org.

"We thought that keiz was one of the best players that were free for the event, and chose to ask him, we have played a few matches with him and we are working great together."

GamerZone took part in the HLTV.org Xperia PLAY Prelude, being dumped out of the tournament following a 2-0 loss to eventual runners-up mTw.

With this move, GamerZone will attend Xperia PLAY from 21-24 April with:

dude... you didn't get it there are no exact rankings. When MYM (ex Begrip) won over SK, that meant that they were the 2nd best team in Sweden [after fnatic]? No, it didn't.

#104 Your rank is obsolete and very incorrect. If you even mention teams like temp-team, empty and so on. That proves how much you really know about the scene overall as your unaware about how inactive players in these teams are. And listing REGret (whom I'm very familiar with, samzter.) is not even near the top13. You can't rank Sweden because everyone can beat everyone in this scene. It doesn't matter if your name is cArn or whatever, you'll one day be stepping a side if a team has a lot more time than you have.. I'd say that keiz is more or less to me, internet. He has been doing great performances on the internet, but I've never really seen him play that well as he does on LAN. Anyhow, these people who're Swedish and that hangs out at HLTV.org are people that aren't familiar with how the scene really works. Therefore, it's highly unlikely to even read what they've wrote, because they haven't faced these players that are below top5.
