mTw, Fx move on to semifinals

The last semifinal contenders have been found - mTw will have to take on Frag eXecutors in their next match.

In the quarterfinal clash between fnatic and mTw, the latter came out to a great start. Commencing on de_inferno, the Danish powerhouse managed to claim their first win when they posted a scoreline of 16-5.

mTw's loss on the following map, de_train, might have come as a shock to many as they are notoriously known for stomping their opponents on the actual map. But fnatic proved to be the strongest contenders and sealed the deal at 16-6.

Whatever juice fnatic had left for the last and deciding map, de_tuscan, was confidently squeezed out by mTw. The Danish team's 16-8 victory has granted them access into the semifinals.

Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas' Frag eXecutors are in town and have been tearing it up so far. The team started on their road to victory on de_dust2 against TCM-Gaming, where they were able to seal their first victory at 16-8.

Moving on to de_inferno, the Intel Extreme Masters 5 World Championship runners-up made short of TCM-Gaming and happily laid down a scoreline of 16-5.

Pita was acctually better this event that both cArn and dsn, maybe also than Xizt... Last tournament he played also well, and he didn't play 1 good game and then they should throw him away ? OFC there are better players, but fnatic is strong with this lineup, and they have proven it, this tournament they lost vs mTw -> BIG DEAL ? mTw is top 5 in world so what, everyone can win in those situations :S... I think cArn will keep this lineup for this year simply because they are good team, and they are young in first place... :)

Yeah, i agree that carn was the worst but carn has also been in a fnatic team that has been consistant ( almost always top3 ) in every event. With this current lineup it´s not happening. All i´m saying is that if they fail next event too i predict a lineup change. Pita is a good support player but what fnatic needs is a open-frager/madfragger. Gux or moddii would do the trick probably. Unfortunately as a fnatic fan i must say Kiev was a fluke.

the only consistent goo dplayer for fnatic since january has been delpan and dsn. u cant expect carn to frag much(tac leader) xizt has not shown the same form he had in KIEV and pita has been disappointing.

level of competition is extremaly high right now so its not shame but of course fnatic always want to be no1, sad that niko refuses fnatic join he could be key player imo

yes i am aware of that, i´m just predicting if they will fail next event too they will make a lineup change because fnatic isn´t a team that is "okey" with being knocked out in the quarter finals 3 times in a row :p

Yeah that's because you're pitting aimers vs strategists lol. FX has not really changed their tactics much and mTw can read them because they've "prepared" against them. Well that's what was said in an interview with minet last time they played anyway. The part about the preparing, not the part about tactics. My opinion FX depend more on aim than tactics as opposed to mTw, which do the opposite. Not saying either of them are bad in tactics or aim though :P P.S: All an opinion, nothing is set in stone. Not from an HLTV viewer anyway.

well,as u could see fx cried for some kind of ghosting on the streaming i just dont know how some1 can ghost with a 2 min delay stream.. that something only kuben can show us.. then the game was paused on MTW best moment..making them lose all the focus and giving away the match. FX should be banned for life fucking cryers
