Sweden WCG qualifier announced

The World Cyber Games Sweden Qualifier has been announced which will feature a Counter-Strike 1.6 qualifier. The winner of the Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament will receive paid travel and accommodation expenses for the World Final which is to be held in Korea later in the year.

The event will take place in three phases. On May 10 and 12, two separate 32 player online qualifiers will be played, with just five teams proceeding from both combined to phase two.

On May 28, these five teams will then join SK Gaming, fnatic and Lions at the LAN playoff's at Inferno Online.

SK Gaming	vs	Online Qualifier #2, 3rd Place
fnatic	vs	Online Qualifier #2, 2nd Place
Lions	vs	Online Qualifier #1, 2nd Place
Online Qualifier #1, 1st Place	vs	Online Qualifier #2, 1st Place

Finally the last two teams remaining from the bracket will play the Grand-final at Dreamhack Summer scheduled for June 18.

i think they are swedish citizens both of them..but for some reason have other flags here on HLTV...i think they want it...but it is still wrong and just confusing. If you live in Sweden and is a swedish citizen...you should have a swedish flag...no matter wich country their parents are from or where they are born....but just my opinion :).

2 of their players are Norwegian (Kalle and Tacky) and cannot play WCG for Sweden. So unless they use fill-in's they probably won't play at all. Using fill-ins justifies the non seed.

it's not silly, it's been the rule for as long as WCG exists. It's no different to WorldCup or Olympics. Just like C.Ronaldo cannot play for Spain (even though his club is Spanish).

I kinda do to, hes not that bad but it just annoys me that a semi-elite guy are in the middle of those names when SK could bring in a more routined player, and win some tournaments instead of wasting some victories due to that they have to "train" dennis into a elite player so to speak.
