ESEA S8 Playoff delayed one hour

The ESEA Season Invite 8 Playoff will due to flight delays start one hour later than schedule – First match will be DINC vs. UMX at 19CST/02CET.

ESEA News report that the start of the Season 8 LAN Finals has been moved an hour back, as flight delays meant later arrival time for the participating teams.

The order of the matchups also changed, meaning Friday will feature the following schedule:

19:00CST/02:00CET – DINC vs. UMX
21:30CST/04:30CET – Blight vs. Area51

You will be able to follow the ESEA Invite Season 8 Playoff via HLTV, but also via stream, as ESEA will be providing a free 720p stream, broadcasting a variety of matches, interviews and more. The stream is expected to go live at 18:00CST/01:00CET with the introduction and Day 1 preview. You will be able to view it once they go live by clicking here.

Also make sure to set your Dreamteam for the event, if you haven't already, click here to do so.

Wow, the guy sitting on the right with the deep announcer voice is really annoying. He has nothing good to say and constantly changes the subject with the other announcer actually says something useful. The only shit this guys says is things that I can blatantly see going on in my own screen. He offers no insight into _anything_. You need DJ Wheat or Joe Miller doing this... they are actually entertaining and insightful.

i know it just seems like CS is cursed with delays rofl...maybe once E-sports becomes big enough, the players/events will start running more on time. You never see an NBA game get postponed....hopefully well get to that era someday

If Area51 was receiving even 1/10th of NBA's average salaries I'm sure they would have no problem flying in a day early, till then stop comparing CS where people get on the cheapest commercial flights in economy with real sports where each team has a private jet.

i didnt compare...i was simply making a statement saying that if E-sports ever got to be accepted as much as the NBA or other sports, it would be alot more efficient and i hope it gets to that point someday. I would love to sit down on Sunday afternoon and watch Esports on my tv. I am a total nerd

Why in such a big league like ESEA they can play de_lite (which is really good map) and no one want to play on this map in Europe, ESWC, WCG, IEM and other tournaments should add this map to their maplist.

I encourage international viewers to check this event out. Despite the claims about the level of American CS, the competition in these events is always very fierce and the players all very talented. Also despite only EG being known world wide there are at least 2-3 other unknown teams that are very close to their level and can beat them if they are playing their best. American CS also has a unique style to it, and it has gotten increasingly tactical over the last two years.
