munkka change lukee for dRiim
Finnish team munkka have announced the departure of Luukas "lukee" Paananen as the team expected better results, joining the team is the former Playzone member Miikka "dRiim" Toroi.
The Fins most recently attended Xperia PLAY at Copenhagen Games 2011, where they crashed in the second group-stage, following loss' against SK and fnatic.
Today the team announced they had cut ties with Luukas "lukee" Paananen due to problems in the team and the fact that the team expected better results. Filling in for Paananen is the former Playzone member Miikka "dRiim" Toroi, who last month returned from his military service.
"We have had some problems in our team, and to keep up the motivation and enthusiasm, we decided to add a well-known and experienced player Miikka 'dRiim' Toroi. We want to thank Luukas 'lukee' Paananen for his time with us and wish him good luck.
He is a really good guy and fun to play with, but we expected better results and that made us think about changing our lineup a little. Miikka brings a lot of experience and knowledge to our team and we hope that we will achieve good results with him." – Tomi "zabaz" Verkkoperä told HLTV.org.
