Finnish team munkka have announced the departure of Luukas "lukee" Paananen as the team expected better results, joining the team is the former Playzone member Miikka "dRiim" Toroi.

The Fins most recently attended Xperia PLAY at Copenhagen Games 2011, where they crashed in the second group-stage, following loss' against SK and fnatic.

Today the team announced they had cut ties with Luukas "lukee" Paananen due to problems in the team and the fact that the team expected better results. Filling in for Paananen is the former Playzone member Miikka "dRiim" Toroi, who last month returned from his military service.

"We have had some problems in our team, and to keep up the motivation and enthusiasm, we decided to add a well-known and experienced player Miikka 'dRiim' Toroi. We want to thank Luukas 'lukee' Paananen for his time with us and wish him good luck.

He is a really good guy and fun to play with, but we expected better results and that made us think about changing our lineup a little. Miikka brings a lot of experience and knowledge to our team and we hope that we will achieve good results with him." – Tomi "zabaz" Verkkoperä told HLTV.org.

munkka consist of the following:

Tomi "zabaz" Verkkoperä
Timi "aslak" Verkkoperä
Juuso "fonex" Malvela
Aleksi "allu" Jalli
Miikka "dRiim" Toroi

Next task for the team will be the ICSC8 group-stage, in which they have been drawn into Group D with Natus Vincere, tao and MaxFloPlaY.

why lol he was sick he was also in an old team croveNt with rumble H^N BASiC good and he was the best from that team atm, and now he is not at that level but better than fonex & zabaz

Rly bad choice imo, -zabaz +lukee. zabaz is playing bad everytime I've watched, and it shows on stats aswell, lukee on the other hand have played rly good, I guess there was personal choice..

can't remember who are the two madfraggers in that team, and who was the guy being inconsistent...i remember aslak as one of the madfraggers, but i don't know who the other madfragger and the inconsistent one are between allu & lukee anyway dRiim is good, tho i would like to see finland bringing an A-Team like ukraine did about two years ago (most of you should not remember), and like france should do too... Finland could be : lurppis (igl) basic aslak jigetus anotherone and France : harts (igl) diodel majer sixer anotherone

aslak is good but not one of the top5 players in finland. plaste freon jigetus driim basic would be something, dunno what form driim is in these days tho
