DELTA allowed back in EPS Poland

The Electronic Sports League has told HLTV.org that BenQ DELTAeSPORTS.COM have been allowed back in EPS Poland.

The Polish side had been banned from the league after it was discovered that Mateusz "ham" Rosłon had cheated in a 2on2 ESL ladder match.

While the ESL has stated it has enough evidence to support Rosłon's ban for the use of an illegal tool in the match in question, they are sure that the player did not cheat in EPS.

As a result, DELTA's results in the league will stand, which means the team currently sit eighth with one point from two matches.

The Polish team will have to work fast to rebuild their lineup, which currently contains just three players following the losses of Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski to MaxFloPlay and Rosłon to a ban.

DELTA have the following three-man roster:

Poland Mateusz "ham" Rosłon
Poland Marcin "rDh" Rutkowski
Poland Sebastian "dArk" Babińsk

how is that his mates' fault if he's cheating? if it's been proven that they didn't get their spot in the league thx to ham's cheating, there's no reason why they should be banned

It is DELTA fault? Are you crazy? It is ONLY ham's fault. He doesn't play in DELTA in this match.

doesnt matter. in germany or in other countrys every team gets kicked for having a cheating player. no matter of eps match oder simple laddermatch.

But still it wasn't DELTA's fault. I agree that DELTA would be remove from EPS. I just want to say that it wasn't DELTA's fault.

In germany, not in Poland or somewhere. In one country you'll die cause of your parent's fault. In europe not. remember.

in soviet russia a player gets kicked for being in a cheating team useless comment is useless tbh who gives a fuck if " in germany , a team gets kicked because of 1 cheating member " ? Just because "THEY DO THAT IN GERMANY" doesn't make it FAIR nor RIGHT. The point everyone is trying to make here is that esl isn't Righteous nor fair in this.

The real problem is that he doesn't cheated, but this dumb program detected "something", which ESL won't show to anyone.. "We have proof, but we don't show you, cause cheaters may use it" :). They will never say, that they spent so many euro for shit anty-cheat. EOD.

i don't know about wac but what i do know is that esea's anti cheat program seems excellent, and it didn't cost them hundeads of thousands You do have a valid point tho, they should at least talk with the player "suspected of cheating" because i'm pretty sure there's already at least one person among the esl admin who's in contact with one of those cheaters. I mean it's obvious that both sides want to know how the other side is doing to improve their own program. There have been rumours about that kind of stuff

because nobody see any evidence of ham's cheating? esl can't state that wire is full of bugs, but every player knows this very well. look that this statement from esl concerning ham's ban brings nothing new. they only repeat more officialy, that ham is a cheater, but they can't show any evidence!. so from one side you have esl statment that shi.y wire caught ham, but on the other side you have guy who has played cs since 10 years, always clean, who has played many offline tournaments, who is present captain of CS National Team of Poland (he's very trusty for polish CS community). demo from this 2vs2 match has been watched by many experienced CS players and everybody said he's clean. so they should to kick him off, because software told he's a cheater, and discovered this in funny 2vs2 match?. no thx...

ESL shouldn't release any information on how there anti cheat works. That is counter productive. ESEA does the same thing with there anti cheat system -although ESEAs is probably A LOT better than ESLs- could it have been false? sure, but just because he has attended offline events and is trustworthy doesn't mean it is impossible for him to have cheated.

What they used before? what does that have to do with anything.. From what I understand ESL wire is mostly updated silently, and ESEA's client also gets bypassed for long periods, even with frequent updates. Was just wondering what made ESEA's client a lot better as you said, I'm not aware how often ESL updates, but it seems silly investing that much money and not keeping it up to date.

I also think esea's anti cheat is better, but even admitting he cheated his esl account should be locked, and he should be forbidden to play any ladder aside from EPS since it has been proven that he didn't cheat during that. Diodel got banned for a crappy match that wasn't even eas / eps which didn't change anything, and he's always performed well offline'n shit, so why not just prevent those people from cheating by restricting them to eas / eps for life ? I mean esl has a thing where you can be forgiven if you provide a written apology i think so let them do that if they want and in the meantime forbid the player to do anything aside from eps where it is proven that he doesn't cheat most "fair response" they could give to that imo

Delta is such a big team with big sponsor and they are tolerating that their main division has only 3 players and one of them has got a 2-year ban in the biggest online league in the world. They should kick them and get new young talented players who will have motivation to play on the highest level.

and some people learn how not to get caught next time I don't totally disagree with you tho but i think delpan ( since you're using him as an example ) would do it again if he could. There's also a probability that cheating allowed him to "predict" with more easy some awp shots ( thus making him better now without cheat ).

OFC he can do it again but i don't think he wants to lose his career with one of the best organization who has been know for supporting players (fnatic) and they won't allow him to do it. Plus if you give people the second chance and screw it then there's no third chance and they don't want to lose their dream.. Mistake happens because we're humans..

Does ESL Wire have a rep for having false positives? where are all the other top players getting random bans? I'll just trust ESL for now, thank you very much. I don't care how many pro's have seen the demo, maybe he didn't cheat in that 2on2 but earlier and was in memory, either way Ham needs too GTFO imo.

You can't say ESL has a "shitty" AC. It obviously detected some irregularity on the players side of the AC, and merely reported that irregularity as a hook or what ever it may have been. I'm sure it isn't the first time this has happened, to more then just ESL too. ESL isn't out to screw over DELTA. They were doing their job acting on what they believe to be a good anti cheat, also which I am sure they tested what ever irregularity occurred and ultimately decided it could very well be a cheat. You all make some pretty broad assumptions in this thread, some of which seem pretty un-warranted.

How do they have a three man roster if they lost ham to the ban...? The ban is mentioned but seeing as he is still in the roster, people are getting confused to whether or not he can actually play in the ESP. A newsitem like this should make things clear for everybody, not make them ask questions.
