dateam have announced they will be testing Emir "EMR" Ceric at the Swedish WCG qualifier.

The Swedish team have been looking for a new fifth player after parting company with Christian "floreNz" Shahan two weeks ago for reasons they preferred to keep secret.

Ceric, who usually represents Bosnia in international competitions, will now reunite with Daniel "rape" Börzsönyi, with whom he played at KODE5 Denmark back in 2009 during their time in Coldfrag.

"I do not want people to underestimate our choice, we have gone through just about every player and yes, they have more experience to offer, but none of them comes close to EMR when it comes to commitment and passion for the game," Danniél "dalito" Morales told fragbite.se.

"He will be a tryout for the WCG this weekend, after that we will just see."

The Swedish WCG qualifier, which will take place this weekend at Inferno Online, will gather a total of eight teams, including SK Gaming, fnatic and Lions.

dateam were last seen at Xperia PLAY, having crashed out of the Danish tournament in the second group stage without a single point.

They will attend the WCG qualifier with:

Emil "striker" Westerberg
Mattias "Snajdan" Andersen
Emir "EMR" Ceric

I believe both EMR and pita have lived in Sweden since early childhood. They simply grew up in a CS loving, highly developed country, and that's why they got good. Not because of their Bosnian origin. Shoot me if I'm wrong about the first part though :p

Fare lived in Sarajevo until mid 2000, and then he moved to Sodertalje.

mid 2000 = round 2005 (i pronounced it wrong). He played here in local LAN centers, with local guys, but eventually he sparkled in Sweden. Sorry for my bad representation, I made mistake :)
