KenaN leaves Alternate

Reports indicate that Kenyon "KenaN" Temmel has departed from Alternate.

The German news port readmore.de report that Alternate have lost Kenyon "KenaN" Temmel, the reason still seems to be unclear as to his departure, but it is said to be a mutual agreement between the two parties. This now marks the third Alternate player to leave the roster this year, after David "CHEF-KOCH" Nagel and Direnc "seraph" Öz also departed.

KenaN ends his Alternate stint?

Alternate had a series of poor results and unstable lineups in Intel Extreme Masters European Championship Finals, where they were forced to use two stand-ins.

The team furthermore only managed forth place in the Summer edition of ESL Pro Series and got knocked out of the German League Cup by ESC Gaming.

Alternate currently have:

Christian "ChRRRRp" Porten
Christian "crisby" Schmitt
Christoph "chrizzo" Krämer
Gerhard "gerdi" Grimm
Jan "mooN" Stolle (Coach)

With the next ESL Pro Series season in sight, it is expected that the German teams will once again enter the silly-season, where teams will trade players and new teams will form.

ALTERNATE really needs to do some big changes. i want mooN back in the lineup, without him Alternate have been shit. they should bring back paN and approx alongside with Roman R and seraph. that would've been sick. wont happen tho but feels like they'd need something like that if they ever wanna be top2 in germany again.

Best ALTERNATE's player.

They are clearly out of the top3 Germany now, IMO.

KenaN was one of the best ALTERNATE players (at least at fragging), alongside with ChRRRRp.

cyx was a great player but I don't think his death is to blame for the German scene to go down. Ever since their scene has been dominated by either Alternate or mouz, especially the latter. And as you have seen despite cyx's loss they still do. The problem is that there does not seem to be any challenge at sight due to archrival Alternate being in low form nowadays and the rest of the teams either being unstable or lacking the necessary skilled players. And if in the end a skilled player appears he might be tempted to join a bigger team, f.e. mouz again.

true EG have no1 to play thats good. FG are too far away and our scene is even worse. wish we had a alternate atleast to play lol. german also play other euros in practice / more lans that we cant

if cyx is still alive, mousesports would be the same level as na'vi/fx/mtw be today. His teammates had no motivation to carry on since he died in that accident, so cyx's death caused the fall of mousesports, after that, they made some change, roman and approx joined mousesports, so attax fell too, everyone know that roman&approx were attax's backbone. So we can say, a car accident ruined German CS .
