fnatic: "We will come to WCG"

fnatic have revealed that their Counter-Strike team will be in attendance for World Cyber Games 2011 in South Korea.

The announcement was made through fnatic's official twitter page, citing finance director Anne Mathews, who said, "We WILL come to WCG".

fnatic earned access to the World Cyber Games 2011 event after securing second place in the Swedish qualifier, in which they fell short to SK Gaming.

As the first-place finishers will have all the expenses covered by the Swedish WCG license holders, fnatic will have to cover hotel, travel and license fees in their own behalf.

World Cyber Games 2011 will take place in South Korea's second largest city, Busan, and run between December 8-11.

SK now is the best possible swedish team (well cArn > robban as an igl) so its hard for fnatic to find a good 5-man roster to beat them.

i think manne, carn, dsn, gux and moddi would be better. my reason for this is that xist just has his moments, where as moddii i feel is a much more stable player that can consistently perform well. flame me

I remember SK @IEM5 with the new lineup f0rest & GTR and SK went home after the groupstages and SK need a few months with the new lineup perfectly teamplayed. I think now fnatic is same like that.

i think their new lineup is pretty powerful when you take individual skill in consideration, but as a team they have to practice a lot in order to retrieve their earlier shape ;)
