DH Summer enters playoff stage

12 teams have been reduced to six now that the DreamHack MSI Championship tournament has entered the playoff stage.

Six teams are still in contention for a share of the €11,000 prize purse that is involved in the Counter-Strike competition at DreamHack Summer 2011.

ESC Gaming and SK Gaming, who both topped their respective groups, have advanced directly into the semifinals, which will start at 15:00 CET.

mTw will cross swords with Moscow Five in their quarterfinal match, while fnatic will have to take on Natus Vincere in their opening playoffs match.

The first stage of the playoffs, the quarterfinals, are scheduled to start at 12:00 CET, and will be played in a single-elimination, best-of-three mode.

The Grand Final will take place in the DreamArena Extreme, which is able to hold over 1,100 spectators, and is scheduled to start at 21:00 CET.

Quarterfinal match-ups:

Denmark mTw   vs.   Russia Moscow Five

Super wise decision for mTw. They avoid SK fnatic and na'vi before coming into the final. I'm sensing a mTw vs SK epic final. Plus SK vs Na'Vi is gonna be nasty!!!

M5 will play even stronger today. I think they will win 2-1 against mTw and then easily get past ESC to go to the final where they will probably meet NaVi. NaVi vs M5 is going to be one epic final.

lol, you're dumb. They played serious against Kaos, look at Kaos results(except kaos-navi game). And if you know math,mTw-Millenium would not change anything in play-offs,just mTw would show some tacs and will be tired next day. owned Edit: and btw it's navi fault that they lost to ESC

millenium match meant anything because they had tie with Kaos.So if they played their maximum they could manage the 2nd place in groupstage. P.S Don't compare Na'vi on nuke vs ESC and mTw-Kaos.
