paistit become ROCCAT for ICSC 8

The former paistit squad have teamed up with ROCCAT to once again represent the brand that brought them much success in 2007-2008.

It was only days ago that Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen informed HLTV.org that paistit should now be considered a permanent team, but HLTV.org has learned the team has been picked up by their former sponsor ROCCAT for the Intel Challenge Super Cup 8 finals.

The statement provided on the ROCCAT facebook page reads:

"Back for the Attack!

Our legendary 69°N-28°E team is ready for a comeback – and itching to get to the ICSC 8 in Kiev!

Naturally, we want to help! So we’re flying the boys to the Ukraine -- and equipping them for battle with ROCCAT Kulo Virtual 7.1 USB Gaming Headsets. Oh yeah: this time around they’ll be fighting under the name Team ROCCAT-Kulo. Nice.

Good luck guys and make ROCCATEERS everywhere proud!"

Despite securing funding to attend the ICSC 8 LAN finals by ROCCAT, the team is on a lookout for an organization to represent them in the future full-time, Kovanen stresses:

"We are still however looking for an organization to represent in the future, so if you're interested in having us, you can contact me on #paistit @ QuakeNet or at [email protected]"

The team will continue with the same lineup for ICSC 8 and beyond:
