Mangiacapra turns to Source

Marc Mangiacapra, former Four Kings leader and top player has announced that he is quiting CS1.6 and turning to CS:Source!

A few days ago we announed that Louis "Red`" Nyberg had converted his ways and was now playing source. Mangiacapra, who once played alongside Nyberg in 4 Kings, has now announced that he too would be changing his profession by turning to CS: Source.

The move comes following 4 King's decline in the Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After having been released from the squad a few months ago and playing with Dutch team Praetoriani, Marc was later recalled back to the 4K squad, only to find it was weakened and as a result they lost the ESWC UK qualifier to Dignitas. Marc was obviously unhappy with his performance and his team's results and has therefore decided he has a brighter future with CS:Source and trying to qualify for the CGS.

Mangiacapra will be playing for team "Polarity +/-" who comprises of members from Team Ebuyer, a former 4K CSS team member and now Mangiacapra.

No replacement of yet has been found to replace Mangiacapra in the 4 Kings cs roster and nothing official has been announced.

Source is spreading like a virus!

I tried source the other day..It felt like playing CS 1.6 in slowmotion, it was soo weird :S When I got a headshot, the guys just fell down like they had 1 hp left, just not getting the same pumping adrenalin rush as when you blow someones head of and they fly several meters back KAPOW! :(

First AIDS now Source :(

eveybody turn to source because of the big $$ you can make in this game because of the CGS. But wait to see Promod, all other tournament (WCG, CPL, ESWC, WEG, Kode5) will have a Tv license, so the CGS wont be alone the have big money!?!

I see another player who never won anything in 1.6 turn to source. Is this some kind of a new trend or something? Let's go for the easier game when we can't do jack shizzle in the harder one.

#14 I wouldn't say it was a permanent(sp?) move as he is only playing in a mix team in the CGS which with the oppertunity to win whats on offer its not a supprise he moved.

Across the pond the CGS just finished up their first draft and it does not look that exciting. Only 6 teams in the league and most of them were picked cause their owners were GM who picked the teams for the city, A lot of great teams that would make the league at least worth watching were over looked. OOHHHH never mind its MR10 $16,000 ahahhahahah
