Group B finishes with SK on top

Group B at GameGune 2011 finished as expected with SK Gaming on the top, while defs surprisingly managed to claim second place, with x6tence referred to third place.

The group stage at GameGune 2011 has been 50% finalized with the conclusion of Group B. The Swedes from SK Gaming had no trouble to claim the top spot, with x6tence being the team that took most rounds against them, scoring 12 rounds in their meet up.

The interesting matter in the group would be defs finishing in second place, only losing to SK. The key to their second place finish was found in the match against Spanish team x6tence, where they produced a 17-13 win on de_train.

LDLC.com came fairly close to a win against x6tence, which would have secured them third place, but x6tence locked it down with a 16-13 score line on de_dust2. LDLC.com are together with club bathory the two teams who did not make the cut in Group B.

SK sliced their way through Group B

1. Sweden SK Gaming
2. Portugal defs
3. Spain x6tence

Group C is about to start, which will be the last group of the day. To check out the group standings at GameGune 2011 clicking here and make sure to be seated the rest of the day, as we will continue bringing you coverage from the Spanish event.

Wtf? x6 kinda sucks at internet, they are almost always playing with high ping and losing to teams such as Virtus.Pro etc. And yeah.. I was kinda waiting for their past results under bet4gamers. But still.

not so close, imagine that he is from madrid, and k1ck are from close to Oporto.. 600km, 6/7 hours by car. Maybe with TGV this can be possible, but is the crisis will take some time for that. The internet ouside the country sucks, in spain e should get +50 ping.

Since Brazil is way bigger than Portugal, you're more likely to endure a long distance trip, when you travel from a city to another in Brazil, in Portugal you could almost travel from north limit to south limit, is something like 900/1000km, is kinda a question of habit.

yea x6 attenting more lans outside the country, for sure, but inside k1ck win on that, i am not sure, i dont know very well the scene of Spain. x6 is lucky because have nice sponsors that can take them too tournaments outside Spain. Other side k1ck can't do it, cant go, cant have the time that others have to pracc. If they get it, they will be on other different level. sorry about English :p

well x6 are salaried ,i mean they spend a lot of money sending them abroad im pretty sure that they salaried im not bashing k1ck for training 5 days maybe youve understood me wrong or smth because what i wantd to say that k1ck even with only 5 days of bootcamp gets the job done and they dont go abroad because of lack of opportunities ofc,no qualifiers=no tournaments

Portuguese guys are sometimes funny, really. A) You dont know how to win. B) You dont know how to lose. What i mean witht hese is that it doesnt matter hwo bad or good they do, they always troll, and if they win, they think they are the best of the best, if they lose, they put a 1000 excuses, like ohhh poor conditions bla bla bla, stfu and play really !

But now portuguese fans think defs and kick are the shit ?, and that theey will win everything, i really hope kick plays x6tence at this gamegune, really, then, whoever loses, will have to stfu. And we aare nto discussing about whicb nation has more trolls, we are discussing that Portugal fans dont know how to win, because when they win, they start insulting their rivals, so, too bad, then, when they lose and get insulted, they cry. Not good.

Yeah, but the point is that i want to see x6tence facing kick, and if x6 wins, then, pt fans should hide in a cave and never get out, same for spanish fans obviously if they lose. Still, look at the result from DEFS against SK, and then look at x6, 16-12...
