gore joins mouz as substitute

Franz "gore" Burghardt is back in mousesports after about two years of absence, he will however only act as a substitute for the team.

The German team today announced the return of the now 29-year-old Austrian Franz "gore" Burghardt, who played his last match with mousesports back in May 2009. Burghardt has in the meantime played for n!faculty and most recently TBH.

Burghardt joins mousesports on a substitute base, meaning he will play whenever one of the core members is unable to play. Burghardt will together with Manuel "Tixo" Makhol be the substitutes for mousesports in all of its activities in the coming season.

mousesports now hose the following seven:

Thanh Vinh "ninja" Bui
Michele "zonixx" Köhler
Finn "karrigan" Andersen

Burghardt will have his mouz-rebirth this Sunday, as mousesports will be attending the first qualifier for the IEM6 Global Challenge Guangzhou. He will play instead of Fatih "gob b" Dayik, who has not returned from his WSOP trip in Las Vegas, USA.

i agree 100%, they are solid players. I am hoping that ESC will do well this year! And hope that many teams win many events, just not SK. It is boring to see only one team dominate for a year. again, i agree with you 100%! I really miss Lunatic Hai, and i hear they are coming back for e-Stars Seoul which is exciting. Project_kr i want them to exceed as well. Chinese pro players say an end to the golden age of gaming for their country with the retirement of GoodRifle and Alex. But i hope teams like Tyloo and wNv come back and upset a lot of top teams :D yeah i know what you mean, its just so boring to see the same team winning every match..i'd much rather see a lot of different teams winning; i think it would be great for e-sports to have different teams winning instead of the same team winning. More companies would be more willing to sponsor teams because lets face it - if you are an organization and you are looking to sponsor a cs team and you look at the current market you see SK dominating the scene, what makes you think sponsoring a team will have diversity when theres already a dominating force? I hope the rest of 2011 is different :/ for e-sports sake

So freaking wrong. Ninja and zonixx are still in the process of learning and after german cs level significantly declined exactly one year ago even traditional teams like mousesports and attax depend on new upcoming talents. Gore has his level, but no real motivation to play in worlds elite, tixo obviously has lost all of his motivation. U will see what ninja can to when he is not oblidged to take over IGL role and zonixx may be one of the most talented young players in Germany...

You will be surprised :) Tbh, after cyx's car accident it seemed to me that with him the german cs scene would just starve away. But thanks to talented young players like ninja, zonixx or as well troubley and thanks to gob b who reconsidered to withdraw from retiring and as well thanks to all those skandinavian people who (of course because they'd like to make new experience and win higher price money, but nevertheless) decided to move to Germany I am pretty optimistic that the German cs scene will now rapidly recover. I see the current situation as a chance to relaunch a nearly dead scene :)
