HLTV.org needs a new designer

HLTV.org are once again looking for a talented designer to help us sexy up website. Is there anyone out there?

As you might have noticed our previous designer Neffet called his resignation from HLTV.org earlier this month. This means we are currently on a lookout for a designer to join the ranks of HLTV.org.

It is no secret that our beloved website could use graphical improvements here and there. In order to do that, we are looking for a designer wanting to contribute his work to HLTV.org and have his work displayed on one of the world's leading e-Sport websites.

In order for applications to get started and create something, we encourage all applications to include a redo of our profile page, which can be found here.

We obviously have a lot of other features planned in the pipeline already, only waiting for someone to swing their magic wand and create some delicious graphics. We needed a new designer yesterday, so there is no real deadline, but we would appreciate all applications to have their work sent in before the end of September. Send your application to [email protected].

The position is volunteer work, but if you are capable of skilled and consistent work over a period of time we will of course put you on the pay-roll.

While some of you might not be the right guy for the job, then you might have a friend or relative who would fit in, so please spread the word and help us in the right direction.

I think the design could be better like, not so square you know? Though I like this style for being organized and simple, if your new designer could not change the place of things and just change the CSS to a more modern one would be great, I don't know if that's what you want to do with the website but it would be nice.

With the amount of people who enjoy designing for fun, but who are capable of great work, I'm sure we'll be able to find someone. And besides, the eventual designer's artwork will be viewed by millions each month. Should get him or her hopped up on the fame.

owning a website myself (cpixel.com) -- i see n0thing wrong w/ the profile page. it's clear, simple.. and easy on the eyes. ppl on here DON'T CARE ABOUT GRAPHICS/DESIGN. they play 1.6 -- nuff said.
