Mandic team revealed

The team to represent what looks to be Brazil's next big project has been announced.

Announced via a live transmition via TEAMPLAY.tv, Mandic revealed the five players to represent the newly started project.

The five players selected to join the project are:

Lincoln "fnx" Lau
Renato "nak" Nakano
Bruno "bruno" Ono
Bruno "bit" Fukuda
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo

This sees the former compLexity and FireGamers team reunite once again, for another shot at claiming world dominance. The biggest change this time, is that the team will have the needed funding, first and foremost to train outside of Brazil, but also to attend a bigger variety of international events.

Back to conquer more titles

We have tried to contact several members of the team in order to obtain a statement about the creation of the team and the project, but for now none of them were available. We will do our best to bring an interview at a later stage.

There is no need to be sorry, since whatever you say about EG and the US scene, you must be even harsher towards the brazilian scene, since they have accomplished even less, and never had a legitimate chance to win a major tournament. I am not saying this lineup isn't great, but you can't flat out say it is the best of the America's, when the teams have not played yet. n0thing has more talent than anyone on this br-lineup, and their new roster definitely has a good chance at beating this ex-coL lineup. You can't write off anything until the matches happen. And I am not a retarded EG fanboy, they are not even my favorite team.

the two times they played they either had a stand in or a new roster, and head to head matches don't mean one team is necessarily a better team overall than the other. EG definitely had better play vs. a wider variety of teams, and had intense bo3 sets with top tier teams... coL would just get destroyed past the group stages vs. any top tier team.

Like u said, for a long time they are playing together and so on... why should they improve then? Ex-col didnt work out why should it now? Imo only chemistry wont win a major tournament, and prd showed that hes fucking awesome at international events (statistically first at gamegune 2010 and pretty good at 2011 if i remember well). Its a lot money for a cs team, but for mandic, not. My opinion is: a conservationism action, arguable because of a iminate split possibility, wont work. I sure understand u (:D) i just cant see bit winning a 1v1 when it will be necessary probably cause hes not individually good as he was 2, 3 years ago. Its my opinion. They may have been working together for a long time, but they definitely havent been working well. They have almost no results of any value for how long they've been playing together. This is a real wasted opportunity, prd should 100% be in the team, and its debatable that spacca or even btt should be too. Bruno definitely shouldnt be there, and unless bit is calling he shouldnt either. The lineup should be fnx, nak, fallen, prd, spacca

still that must be frustrating for you if you are prd or spacca, they deserved this chance, more than bit1 and bruno, they are playing as good as fallen and fnx, they are good guys never made any problems with nobody, and they don't get into the "best lineup" in Brasil? pretty fucking sad if i was prd or spacca i would stop playing cs.

I know bro it's very sad but they have to understand that mandic's line up have been player together for a while and they got a lot of international experience. I guess this was the biggest reason that gau thought of to mount the team.

so did prd and spacca, prd even get best player of gamegune and cnb didn't even get to the finals, i think that gau is stoped in time, there are players like bit1 and bruno that will never play as good as they played in the past, and they wont become better individual either. still you got a point, but i think a fresh lineup with 5 most skilled players in Brasil would be much better

yeah if I would gau, I'd chose: fallen, fnx, prd, spacca and nak but fallen LOVES to play besides nak, ell etc and the team has an old chemistry, got it? man I'm really sorry for my bad english. I hope you understand it all!

he just does it few times and if you see his statistics he always does bad and kills little, in the other hand, we havr prd that is a great hope for brazilian cs, and btt that is a regular player and played with mibr in the past in a lot of international tournaments.

the point is: before, with this same lineup, their trainings were made with another brazilian teams, only. now, they will do pretty much like the old mibr (2004~07) used to do: practice with the top euros a few times per year... and that's a HUGE difference, that's what make mibr good enough to win ESWC, Dreamhack, shgOpen and GameGune

They don't need A or B, they need hard pracc, time and results will come. nak plays better with bruno, bit plays better with fnx, fnx plays better with FalleN and FalleN plays better with nak haha... They're great together. People are curious, they kinda need to see new players in action, but in the end of the day, this line-up is the best possible for us. Gaules knows what he's doing. New talents in Brazil are not like the new ones from Sweden, for example. New talents in Sweden pracc against the best teams in the world, but here, those "new" players have basically good aim (not all of them, ofc).
