NA MSI BEAT IT qualifier announced

The North American online qualifier for MSI BEAT IT 2011 has been announced to take place October 1-2.

Originally, the first qualifier to take place was the first European qualifier, but due to technical issues, it was postponed.

Instead, the North American qualifier, which was just announced, will be the first qualifier to take place. The qualifier will feature a maximum of 32 teams from the United States and Canada. The teams will battle for one spot, which leads to MSI BEAT IT 2011 at DreamHack Winter in November.

Signups for the tournament are open from now until Thursday, September 29 at 00:00 . In order to signup, teams should go here.

The qualifier will be played in a single-elimination bracket and will begin Friday, October 1 at
00:00 , where the first three rounds of the qualifier will be played. The first three rounds will be played best-of-one map, while the remainder of the qualifier, played October 2, will be played best-of-three maps.

The winning team of the qualifier will gain access to MSI BEAT IT 2011 and win $1,000 for their efforts. HLTV.org will be covering the North American qualifier, including HLTV on all matches starting at
00:00 October 1.

Are you saying that Mandic (ex-coL.br) who made it to top6 at IEM World Championship can´t beat a new team, built on 2 former EG members which burn´t out and 3 other players who have never prove them selfs as good players out of USA? Well, good luck to Temporary then...

top 5 in IEM, btw he forgot that a USA team never WON WCG PAN AMERICA... mandic can beat both of EG/Temp (not easily but they can)

Funny how you don’t see multi gaming organizations jumping to sponsor any teams for your country's, stop hating if you’re not half as good as they are

You dont know where he is from. What if he is dane og a swede? German? Lots of great organizations around here. Even though i think he is a troll aswell, you just cant use "Funny how you don’t see multi gaming organizations jumping to sponsor any teams for your country'", when you dont know where he is from ;).

Nope, but i guess they could :). Only reason not is, i guess, their studies. And also, the fact that they all would have to move to a new country.
