CheckSix pick up Temporary

CheckSix Gaming has picked up Temporary to be the organization's Counter-Strike 1.6 division.

Ever since the creation of the team, the five players have been without an organization. But this ends now, as the team was last night announced to be CheckSix's new Counter-Strike 1.6 division.

David "Xp3" Garrido stated the following on the team's website about joining the ranks of CheckSix:

"Our team is very thankful that CheckSix is giving us such an awesome opportunity. We're looking forward to representing CheckSix at Intel Extreme Master’s NY and other upcoming events, and hope to bring in a lot of victories."

The team has furthermore added the former Evil Geniuses member Matt "Warden" Dickens as the team's sixth member, meaning he will only step in when one of the core players are unable to play. In addition to that, the team received an invite to the tenth season of ESEA Invite.

Representing CheckSix are:

Dustin "dizzaman" Dilyerd
David "Xp3" Garrido
Danny "fRoD" Montaner
Spencer "hiko" Martin
Tyler "Storm" Wood

Matt "Warden" Dickens (backup)

The first event under the CheckSix flag will be this week, as the team will be participating in the IEM6 Global Challenge New York, where they have been placed in Group B with SK Gaming, WinFakt and semXorah.

he had retired from pro cs but didn't give it up entirely. he played a couple matches on an esea-open team a few seasons ago with his brother (nosam) and friends, and he looked good, not washed up anyway, though it was only the open division. if you check x6's team page on esea, the stats show him to have the same adr and slightly higher fpr than storm in their scrims, so he can't be all that bad.

finally. been waiting and waiting for checksix to pick up a cs team again and now they finally have. and it's not just any team, these guys got lots of potential and i hope they can surprise at IEM NY, even though i guess it's somewhat unlikely that they'll get any of the top placings with both SK and mTw there, not to mention WinFakt and EG. but i hope they can take out WinFakt and semXorah and at least qualify for the playoffs where they'll likely meet mTw and lose. but at least then they would've performed above expectations, especially if they manage to play close games vs sk/mtw. gogo:)

I'm not sure about them vs. Winfakt but there's very little chance they won't beat semXorah. Two players from semX can't make it, so they're substituting in two esea-main players from the U.S., but only one of the three in semXorah speaks English. In other words, they're going to be pugging it and not be able to communicate well. edit: here's an article about it eseanews.com/index.php?s=news&d=comments.. you can see they say they won't even play together before the tournament.

Getting back from CS:S, hope still in good condition. Now Zet is trying to get back to his best condition. I think storm frod warden still need time to get back to CS1.6. I should say CS:S had a bad ending, also those cs top players back then. and I don't now CS:GO would end like what. Only GOOD LUCK!
