minet to miss IEM6 GC New York?

News broke earlier today on Xplayn.com that mTw player Oliver "minet" Minet was sick prior to leaving Denmark and has not travelled with the team to compete in the IEM6 Global Challenge New York.

The article states that Minet was sick and did not travel with the team and mTw are now searching for a United States player to fill in for him on such short notice. An American legend of the game Scott "evolution" Cavallero was named in the article, and while we can confirm Minet did not travel with the team, there has been no confirmed information regarding who the replacement will be, if one is needed and assuming they can find one in time.

Minet in doubt for IEM6 GC New York?

With the time approaching midnight in New York, it's doubtful any news will come to light over the next few hours. However with just under thirteen hours until mTw's first game at 18:00 , all should be revealed soon.

HLTV.org's own Nix0n and lurppis are both on site in New York so we will do our best to keep you updated as the situation progresses.

i think it's justified, has come 4th at WCG, won a few seasons of cevo, and 30 odd LAN events in America. Not to mention his movies are pretty popular as well. I guess it's personal opinion though

Most danes actually speak fluently english, so that shouldn't be a problem at all. We start having english in school in 3rd or 4th grade, when we are about 8-9 years old. :-)

Hope not. Not a big fan of mixing nationalities, and as a dane i would love to keep a sort of "national team". Unfortunately no other danish clan than mTw can compete on the highest level, so in my opinion - assuming that zonic ends his CS career - there's only 5 danish players strong enough to carry on the success: karrigan Friis (awp) Trace Minet ArcadioN (strat) That would be killer, but doubt it'll happen :/

If your going after evo in dt then my suggestion is that u buy the rest of mtw except for Trace. But its a risk nonetheless. Trace though gives good cash all the time :P
