MSI BEAT IT EU qual #3 announced

The third and final European qualifier for MSI BEAT IT 2011 has been announced for November 2-4. The top four placed teams will qualify for Dreamhack Winter later in the year, where the 2011 edition of MSI BEAT IT will be held.

The tournament will feature 64 teams from all over Europe and the qualifier will be played over three days. The format wil begin as a single-elimination bracket, playing best-of-one map and switch to best-of-three as the tournament progresses.

Although four teams will qualify, the qualifier will still play out until a winner is found to help establish seeding. The qualifier will begin Wednesday next week at 18:00 , where the upper part of the bracket, which counts 32 teams, will play the first three rounds.

On Thursday, the lower part of the bracket will play three rounds, once again starting at 18:00 . Friday will be the final day, where quarter-finals, semi-finals, third place decider and Grand Final will be played, all in a best-of-three map mode.
