DH and SK protest

With the ESWC grand finals in Paris just around the corner, there has been some slight trouble.

Firstly we head over to Sweden to see what all the trouble is about there.
Sweden SK are particularly unhappy that ESWC have picked Sweden NiP over them selfs to go to this years final in Paris. You can read about why NiP has been chosen to represent Sweden along with Sweden fnatic and Sweden Begrip as this years final here.

Sweden Gosey from SK has written a blog about why he and SK is unhappy that ESWC chose NiP instead of SK to go to Paris early next month.

Gosey had this to say in his blog:

I was having a chat with the head organizer for the Swedish ESWC Qualifier last night, and their reply was that NiP went trough the groupstage, and thereby got the spot to ESWC. Is that fair? I mean, having 2 groups and taking the 2 best teams from each group. Then suddenly you need a third best team? What if all the 3 best teams are in the same group? This was the case in Group A.
You can read the rest of his blog over at SK-Gaming.

Now we head over to Greece where Greece Delinquent Habits claim that Greece HACKER, who is a player of Greece vatos Locos used silent run more then a dozen times. Delinquent Habits then spoke to ESWC staff to check the demo and disqualify vatos Locos which would make Delinquent Habits the new representative of Greece.

HACKER had this to say:
I think this is ridiculous, it is not true that I used silent run during the match and the admins checked the demo and said that I didn't do anything.
The ESWC Greece admins have defended vatos Locos and said that there was no form of silent steps during the match and vatos Locos will still be representing Greece at this years final in Paris.

Bad luck to SK. But now i think NiP have a strong chance to win ESWC. As for Vatos Locos, if they didnt use silent run and the admins did check the demo then they should go to Paris. Good luck to them.

hahhaha SK is mad. But everyone should remember what teams got threw the group on Sweden qualifier - oh yeah: NiP, fnatic, begrip and EvilZone. I don't see no SK here, so those pricks better stfu and scram. Kthx

#2 Wasn't 3 of the 4 best teams in sweden in the same group? What i'm trying to say is that if SK had been in the other group, they would most likely have gotten through to the groupstage instead of evilzone

it`s a matter of luck ... why change the rules just because SK wants to go to Paris??? NiP was 3rd in the qualifiers so they are going to Paris ...

LOL....what is sk doing...I mean NIP placed 3rd with evilzone and sk placed 5th in the qualifier they just had...now..I dont know how the hell can you "protest" about that...Lets say you placed 4th in a tournament that has pricemoney for the top3 finishers...you're not gonna get any money just because you had "tougher croups" or "tougher opponents" that someone in the top3..that's just stupid by sk...the only one who should protest about that is evilzone but they probably just didn't have the money to go there so eswc chose nip.

It´s SK´s own fault that they didn´t qualify for the semifinals... Despite I personally would prefer to see SK at ESWC, I think it´s a fair decision.

low from sk gossy is whining about the results over the year but eswc isn't about those results. It picked NiP because they were 1st at the groups DHS 07 and beated evilzone in the group stage. And if SK is whining about the "unfair" group that is ridiculus 1st of all if you want to go to the eswc you should be able to beat everyone,so what can SK do at the grand finals if they can't beat fnatic (ohh yes they did beat begrip but who cares? ) what are they going to do at the eswc ? and 2nd if they didn't pick NiP it would be Evilzone 1: EZ beated SK in a pre-quali 2: SK was 3rd in the groups EZ 2nd at NiP group this make them place 3-4. SK is ranked? NO so please SK stop whining and focus on gamegune and WCG(if you can make it to seatle)

wat u talkin about low from sk ? SK are a much better team than NiP, they showed that in Louisville as we all know, and they humilated fnatic 2 days ago in ngl :) gosey is 100% right tbh . they lost in the groups in sweden by 4 or 5 rounds wow big deal, but they definatly diserve to be in ESWC. respect

Typical SK behaviour. The most unprofessional attitude from any professional team. Always bitching and moaning, always delays and always complaints. They act like spoilt brats, they are the Chelsea of the CS world and they are not averse to bending or at least trying to bend the rules themselves. Behave SK...Act like Pro,s...Not kids chucking toys from cots.

hmm, best solution would be invite all teams, fnatic,begrip,nip,ez,sk-gaming to escw and put them same group :) Altought fnatic&begrip teams probably against idea, but who is best, is what people are intrested.

unfortunatly the 3 best teams in sweden were on the same group, but, if you're not capable to qualify for the semi-finals, that was because you didn't deserve to be there... SK should stay quiet, they played poor at the sweden qualifer... anyway, if they were on ESWC, mibr would just CRUSH them -.-

If hacker used silent walk and that was against th rules JUST DISQUALIFY THEM. so simple. As for Greek teams, they just fill in the gaps.SK instead of them is a much better choice for all of us.

didnt sk lost from evilzone at the pre-eswc qualifiers once? so why are they so sure that they would have passed the groupstage in the other group? play better, talk less.

well if the admins checked the demo and didn't see hacker silent walking its only fair that they go. the only comment that comes to mind about SK is "less moaning more practicing"
