WEM postponed until 2012
Organizers of World eSports Masters have announced that their annual event will be postponed until 2012.
The event has been traditionally held at this time of the year and has taken place in Hangzhou, China three times since its inception. It was previously rumoured that it would not take place this year as no information had been released and today's announcement clears up the situation.
This is the official press release:
After the consultation between China side and Korea side, the World eSports MASTERS will be postponed to 2012 which is originally scheduled to be held on November 2011
due to its development strategy adjustment. The specific preparation issues will be released on the press conference jointly held by Chinese organizers and Korean organizers.

It does seem like the event will still take place, granted later than usual. WEM has continuously supported CS 1.6 as its main game despite adding other games on side. HLTV.org will provide more information as soon as it becomes available.
