CS:GO beta gets first patch
Just two days after the release of the first public build, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive receives its first patch.
The patch focuses on fixing the movement problems that have been haunting the beta testers and solving the invisibility of some players. The full change log:
Fixed movement exploit
Made movement more responsive per pro feedback
Fixed an out-of-sync issue that was causing some players to get shot by invisible players
Added mp_restartgame for competitive matches
The development team has been tweaking the overall movement feel of the game, compared to ice skating by the testers upon the release of the beta, the movement is now more precise, additionally the bug that made the players run faster by spamming the strafe keys is now fixed.
If you're one of the lucky people to be in the beta you don't need to worry about downloading the patch as Steam will automatically download and apply the patch.
Stay tuned to HLTV.org as we will bring more Counter-Strike: Global Offensive news and future beta keys give away competitions.
