ESC & M5 advance to semi-finals

WCG 2011 moves into the semi-finals with ESC Gaming and Moscow Five both having convincing wins over eSahara and mandic two maps to nil.

ESC started their quarter-final match against eSahara on de_dust2 and the match got off to a close start with the teams neck and neck with ESC Gaming having a slight lead of 8-7 at the half. In the second half ESC Gaming came out fired up and quickly took the eight rounds needed to end the match at 16-9.

The teams then moved onto de_nuke where ESC Gaming showed total dominance taking a very quick 16-4 match win to secure them a spot in the semi-final against the winner of NEXT and IGG.

In the other semi-final, Moscow Five had a tougher time against the Brazilian team of mandic who gave the Russians a good game on de_inferno. Moscow Five started out as Terrorists and took nine rounds in the first half. After the break, Both teams exchanged blows, but Moscow Five came out stronger taking the first map 16-13.

de_nuke was next up and Moscow Five continued where they left off taking another nine rounds as Terrorists. Some clever play from mandic was not enough to reel in the lead Moscow Five created, and in the end ran out of rounds going down 16-11.

I understand him pretty well but firstly it was very disrespectful for next that he didn't mention them, secondly he search some excuse if esc would beat sk in the final. it's danne.
