NEXT beat IGG to make final four
On paper the least interesting quarter final at World Cyber Games 2011 saw the Kazakhstanian NEXT make their way into the final four with a commanding 2-1 win over IGG.
First map started off with IGG jumping onto a nice 9-6 lead as terrorists on de_inferno. It was once again Dauren "AdreN" Kystauvayev who made the difference in the second half, as he opened it up with a three kill pistol round to bring the score back to 9-9. Once tied up NEXT never looked back and went up 9-1 before losing two more rounds, only to close the map at 16-12.

Second map was de_train where NEXT start off as terrorists, once again winning the pistol round and getting a comfortable lead which led to a 9-6 half in the Kazakh's favor. Although IGG lost their terrorist pistol round, their AK drop buy in the second round gave them some life and they managed to win the following five rounds. Despite losing a few rounds the Romanians managed to come back and clinch a 16-13 win.
The final map was de_nuke where IGG started as terrorists, unable to score their first round win until the ninth round. At that point they went on a nice little run, scoring four rounds in a row and ultimately ending the half at 4-11. Winning their pistol round as counter terrorists proved to make little difference as NEXT cruised to a comfortable 16-6 win.
