ESC over NEXT to move into final
ESC Gaming has defeated NEXT to move into the Grand-final of WCG 2011 where they will meet the winner of SK Gaming and Moscow Five and play off for the first place prize of $25,000 and the title of WCG champions.
The semi-final started out on de_dust2, with NEXT starting off as the more favoured Terrorists. Using their advantage, they made the most of the opportunities and took a nice 10-5 lead going into the half. When the teams swapped size, ESC Gaming showed their years of practice in high pressure matches and preparation on de_dust2 and won eleven straight rounds to win the first map 16-10.

The girls are happy with ESC's performance on de_dust2
Both teams then moved onto de_nuke where once again NEXT got off to a great start taking four of the first five rounds. However it wasn't to be, ESC finishing strong to go into the half time break up 10-5 as Terrorists. The second half was very close with NEXT trading rounds with ESC Gaming, however the first half deficit was too much for NEXT and ESC Gaming ran out winners 16-9.
