Tixo returns to Alternate

Manuel "Tixo" Makohl has announced his return to Alternate, which he hailed for in 2006-2007.

Shortly before the start of stage three for the IEM6 Global Challenge Kiev, German team Alternate announced via their website that Manuel "Tixo" Makohl had made a return to his former organization.

Makohl played for Alternate back in 2006 and 2007, leaving the organization just after New Years, signing with the rivals from mousesports. From 2007 untill July this year, Makohl was a part of mousesports' starting five. In July changes were announced in the team, seeing Makohl step back and act as backup player.

With his return to Alternate, he will reunite with Navid "Kapio" Javadi, with whom he played alongside in both Alternate and mousesports.

Alternate now house the following five:

Navid "Kapio" Javadi
Roman "Roman R." Reinhardt
Manuel "approx" Zeitz
Tobias "Troubley" Tabbert
Manuel "Tixo" Makohl

The German team attended Sunday's stage three qualifier for IEM6 Global Challenge Kiev, but crashed after a loss to Natus Vincere in the fourth round of the lower-bracket. The team will now have a long winter break, first time you will be able to catch them in action in 2012 will most likely be the upcoming season of the German ESL Pro Series.

Correct me if I'm mistaken but I think they need to have 3 players living in Germany to be able to play in EPS Germany not 3 German players.

They had a 4-man line-up since they kicked hool some time back if I am not mistaken. Thus no player has left the team with Tixo now joining.

On paper this team looks very strong. Good luck in EPS. I doubt they will win against Mousesports anyways, so will be a bit boring.

If you aim at his misbehavior at Global Challenge Chengdu, where he didn't shake hands after losing tha match, but apologized afterwards, then you should get better pay attention to Esenin's behavior over all.

+ he was the last man standing for about a minute in that round and was still absorbed in the game, because he tried to clutch the round so badly with all the pressure on him whereas his teammates had a little time to accept the shocking defeat. surely that is not the right behaviour in that moment, so he apologized afterwards. you cannot judge a person by one situation, tixo is one of the most professional players in germany in terms of attitude.

Yes it's better than most EPS teams but i doubt you have seen aTTaX play the last years as much as I do and seriously, Roman R. is really holding them back.. he's just too old for all this, there are plenty of better players in Germany than him.
