turkizh returns; joins Xapso

Barely under two months ago after announcing his retirement from Counter-Strike due to smack talking, Christian "turkizh" Bindslev has returned to activity and joined Xapso.

Most recently Bindslev was flown in as a stand-in for mTw at their last event before disbanding, IEM6 Global Challenge New York. Bindslev had a rough showing as mTw fell to SK but took down UMX in the third place decider. He was also a part of Full Gaming.

turkizh returns to competitive Counter-Strike

Since then he has been active in various gather communities but hadn't been a part of a team. That has changed now though as he has re-united with Timm "ArcadioN" Henriksen from mTw to join Xapso, with whom he debuted last night, beating Anexis 16-11.

Xapso's next two events will be the LAN finals of Danish eSports League taking place this weekend and Copenhagen Games on 6-7th April, both taking place in the Danish capital.

yup, but also looking forward to see how Xyp9x and zanoj is doing. not implying that they are cheating or anything, but haven't seen them on lan yet. actually know nothing about zanoj at all. Xyp9x dismantled fnatic with ease on praccs@internet so will be fun to see if he can do that sort of stuff offline too =D

zanoj is good, he just havent been given the chance to show it, in a top team. I used to play with both zanoj and xyp9x about one year ago, and back then they played gr8 to, but now the have some more experience and a top class in game leader..

I can't believe, that no one has posted a similar comment like mine. Can't find the article where he mentioned before he "quit" CS, that he wanted to spend more time with his family, friends etc. Pay more attention to his studies etc and not to be a CS freak who puts CS over going out to party with friends. Puts CS over family etc. So I'm guessin, that he "put" CS over his family, friends etc to play with ArcadioN and co competitively again ? :D I don't buy that at all. When he said, that he "quit's" CS, he didn't really quit that's one. Two. People who say, that they quit because of reasons like that, they really quit and they don't come back and if they do come back, they don't come back after 2 months, hahaah come back? Maybe half a year or more, but definitely not 2 months. And three. People like cArn, walle, ave etc etc, when they quit, they really quit. They don't come back after 2 months and say I missed CS. Maybe they attend some events with a mix or something, but they don't make a team, like nothing happened. But like I said, there are different types of quiting. When they say, I played the game very long and I'm tired of it or something like that, they don't make come backs after 2 months and they really rarely make comebacks and form teams.. But when you say, I'm turning into a CS freak and putting CS over friends and family, you don't really come back from that, mixes here and there maybe, but not joining a competitive team again. That just pisses me off, to no end and I don't know why really. Well, it doesn't really piss me off :D, cuz I don't really care about turkizh or his team, but you say that CS is taking over your life etc and you "quit", but then you make a comeback. For me, turkizh just shows how immature he is with his words and his decisions. But then again, I don't really know how serious this Xapso team is. I mean, I saw them searching practice in mirc, but maybe they play few times a week and that's it. I don't really know and it could be just like a mix-team. And my post then is pretty useless I guess! :b And don't get me wrong, I'm not dissatisfied that he made a come back. It's good for the scene etc, I just don't like when pro players don't keep their word so to speak. Cheers!

I think a lot of statements made by players and organizations are not actually quoting the player 100% correctly. Or the player isn't giving you the honest truth behind the matter. Not each player statement but a lot of them indeed. It's not hltv's fault either they just get what is fed to them by the organization or the player and both of these outlets might be trying to be subtle about the real situations at hand because all we care about is 1. The player retires. 2. The player comes back. Truthfully that's all that matters. I'd also like to add thanks to the fine professionals at hltv.org CS STILL has better journalism than any other esport at the moment. I don't know if it would be thread worthy but I'll just finish this in saying thanks to hltv.org's staff cs would have just never made it this far. These guys work very hard traveling and hunting the web to find out anything they can in all cs related things as any good journalist should be and I really hope this is something they can benefit a future from through all their hard work someday. Thank you hltv.org keep you are still the esport journalist king of the hill. :)

Yeah, but it's so much different with them. They didn't really come back yet. And they quit CS, because they have been in the scene for a long time etc. They didn't quit for reasons like turkizh did to be with his family, friends etc. Because CS overtook his life, it's not like he isn't abandoning his family, friends again. I mean it's not my business you know. Maybe the situation is different etc.

Well, the thing is that turkizh realized that without CS; he'd do nothing on his sparetime other than studying. Let me still remind you folks that turkizh is one of those who's actually a 'good boy'. He studies law on a danish university. No wonder he wanted to become a lawyer, he was so good explaining that he didn't cheat back at CB =DDDDDDDD

cheater? coloN played in netcafe in all DEL matches. And coloN did well, and he beat 2 x Anexis in netcafe. So he is not bad player, but it's still possible, that he used hack versus Norway in CB match. And turkizh was cheating in old day ^^
