EPS playoffs begin on Saturday

The playoffs in the German ESL Pro Series Spring Season 2012 will begin on Saturday.

With the group stage concluded, six teams have advanced to the playoffs. Alternate who finished first will together with myRevenge, who finished second, advance directly to the semi-finals.

The two teams will face winners of the quarter-finals, consisting of the teams who finished third to sixth place. Fourth place finishers mousesports will use Finn "karrigan" Andersen on Saturday, but should the team qualify for the season final, which will be played April 28-29, then veteran Christian "Blizzard" Chmiel will step in and assist the team.

All of the matches will be played best-of-three maps and will be broadcasted by ESL TV. The schedule for the day is listed below.

13:30	fC.SNOGARD	vs.	DkH
16:00	mousesports	vs.	Alternate
18:30	DKH	vs.	myRevenge.de

The two teams to make the season final in Cologne will fight for the 5,000€ first place prize, runners-up will get 2,500€.

Karrigan won't play that match, he is in FnaticRC and who would play for mousesports you think? It will be like ninja zonixx, roman gob b and some others i think :)

Oh yeah, you're right, dunno why I assumed that, I probably should stop doing two things at the same time but anyway on 28th/29th of april the lineups will look like the one in my previous post unless of course Blizzard should decide to play instead of relay.

Mouz line-up is like a rollercoaster as of late. I presume Blizzard playing instead of replay is some sort of tribute in order for him to participate in these last episodes of the squad's history.

yeah, and he played at gamegune as a standin 2010 or 2011, and he did insanely good there, carrying them. I think mouz should be thankfull for having him be part of their roster for such a long time, and still helping them out afterwards
