CSP Deathmatch test starts
The CSPromod team have released the game files for this weekend's Deathmatch mode testing.
Following yesterday's news about the weekend testing, CSPromod servers are now coming up and people have found their way onto them and begun testing the Deathmatch mode.
The Deathmatch mode will be a feature in the upcoming 1.09 release and most of the planned changes the development team have made up until now have gone into effect along with it.
Several HLTV.org staff members participated in the launch of the Deathmatch mode, and we definitely like what we have seen. So did some of our readers who also joined in.
For those still wondering how to get in on the action, you will need a game which uses the Source engine, for instance CS: Source or Team Fortress 2, and the Source SDK Base 2007 installed.
The CSPromod developers have made a nifty installation guide on their website for those interested in participating. Click here to see how it is done.
Head over to the CSPromod team's announcement to find the necessary files in order to play. Make sure you read the entire document, as it contains some noteworthy information.
The developers are also depending on feedback over the weekend, so if you decide to give it a try, you can help them out by providing feedback on their forum.
